It was a long day, the scorching sun was beginning to make me hallucinate while I hobbled my way through the thick swamp trying my best not to sink into the humid mud beneath me. Trying to be as cautious as possible, I zigzag behind every blade that is encrusted in the ground. I was about to give up and admit the fact that there is no way out of this swamp and that I would be surrounded by these green sharp blades for the rest of my life, until I saw a faint shimmer a few feet away.In that moment, I forgot how exhausted I was and rushed to see if it was what I imagined it was. And there it was! A deep blue lake that glistened under the sun. I launched myself into the oasis and just let the water wash away my worries of being seen for just a split second. Then in a blink of an eye, that split second of bliss went to turmoil when huge cannon balls of water began crashing down all over. The calm lake turned into a raging ocean and the shore was getting destroyed due to the impact, and all I could do was hang onto a tall wooden pillar that was stuck to the ground holding on for dear life. The waves continued to crash against me and the wooden pillar, it seemed like it had been hours ever since the cannon balls began striking the Earth. What is going on? Could this be one of their attacks? Will I be able to endure more of this pain? So many questions were spiraling in my head. I was beginning to loose my grip and starting to see everything around me much darker. Is this it? Is this how it will end?
