Chapter 1

*Dean's P.O.V*

As I was walking backstage at Battleground I was still having so many questions in my head with very little answers. I don't get it. I am confused. Seth had came out during my match with Ted and had helped me win. Which I didn't need help. I was fine just on my own. I kinda wanna know why though that Seth had helped. I thought he hated me though and would have sided with Ted but that's wasn't the case tonight. He went against Ted and cost him the match against me. 

"Still thinking about your big win tonight?" I heard that had snapped me out of my thoughts and when I looked I saw Seth standing in front of me.

"If anything my big win tonight was thanks to you" I said getting closer to him.

"It was nothing" he shrugged. 

"I just don't understand though as to why you had helped me. I was fine on my own and I didn't need any help. Especially from you" I said my voice cold.

He laughed. He actually laughed at what I was saying.

"Dean keep telling yourself that. We all knew and even the crowd knew that Ted was about to beat you. So I had to do something" he said shrugging again.

"Uh huh sure" I said shaking my head at him.

"You don't believe me?" 

"You haven't given me a reason to" I said and I can tell that he was starting to get irritated with what I was saying.

"Look the thing is The Authority wanted to do it. We wanted to give Ted that loss" he said and that made me confused.

"I don't get it" I said.

"For some reason Ted hasn't reached a level of being in The Authority. He's too focus on other things and when I mean by other things I mean your fiance. Also it was because it would be a great gesture and hopefully you say yes to being in the Authority" he said.

"Oh so that win was all about a gesture so that I can join your ego maniacal group. Well sure why not because you guys are the best people to work with. You care about every other superstar in the company. You care about the ratings and when people are injured. Yeah why not" I said and he was just standing there shocked.

"You being for real?" he asked and that was when I started to laugh.

"Not a chance in hell. I will never join your group" I said 

"And why not you would make a great aspect to the group" 

I don't think he is getting it at all. I already told Stephanie and Triple H that I didn't want to join the group and now I am telling Seth. Who's next? Kane. Ted. J & J even though they aren't here right now.

"As I said before I am not interested but thanks for my win. I appreciate it" I said.

"No problem" he laughed waving it off. 

I was about to say something else until I heard something. I didn't know what it was at first until I heard the voice and it was Ted. He's mad and I don't blame him.

"SETH YOU ARE A DEAD MAN" he said approaching Seth not even acknowledging me. Guess he was tired of me for one night.

"Oh come on Ted" Seth said. 

And this is my cue to leave I thought in my head and started to walk away. I didn't want to be involved in that type of drama.

I was walking to the locker room because I gotta meet up with Brooklyn and go to the hotel because I know how tired that we are. We are beat from tonight and just wanna cuddle up together in the bed because the bed feels nice.
