Chapter 1 Hometown

In a world full of light there always seem to be to much darkness everywhere you go, this is my story, but not all stories have a happy beginning in a world where happiness is a dream and depression and true terror is a reality, death always seems to be right behind the corner. To begin my quest, I must take you to my past where it all began in the small town of Tianjin. I remember myself walking down the street seeing the faces of children playing in fields with big smiles on their faces, as the fresh morning air kiss my face and the smell of roses relaxed my mind. As I stopped to pick up fresh fruits for dinner for the celebration of my father's return from being a dragon hunter I could only feel proud of my father for he was a true hero. Returning home with fresh dinner supplies my mother waited for me by the door embracing me with a hug and a kiss on my cheek, as I walked in a man stud up with a look of pride on his face walking over to me. "Hello lio it's been too long," the man said hovering over me "dad is it really you," I said stuttering as tears poured down my face, then suddenly the man pulled me in for a hug and I can remember his long warm arms wrapped around me. "I love you son and never forget that," the man said as my mother came over joining the hug whipping away her tears"now let's eat, you probably missed my cooking while you were away right"well not so much" he laughed. "I was joking honey your food is delicious" as we all started laughing with big smiles on our faces, that morning was special but everything changed later on that day. I could remember my mother shaking me awake as the smell of smoke hit my nose, "lio wake up we have to go"mom whats going on" I yelled as the roof of the house started to cave in. Making are way outside in the nick of time before the whole house burst into flames, as I looked around my heart stopped as caries mothers holding their lifeless kids in their arms on the floor echoed through the streets as there houses burned down to ashes. what was I looking at was this really happening or was this all a dream, soon the bitter truth hit me this was no dream but this was a nightmare. "Mom where's dad," I ask as she ignores my question tugging me thru the streets making my way past dead bodies ripped in two as blood stained the streets and babies wondering around looking for their parents. I wondered what sick person would do something like this only to see my answer right in front of my eyes but this was no human, blood rained down from above as a dragon hovered over us looking down with eyes of death and a mouth full of fire. Then the dragon raises its claws about a strike suddenly a voice was herd echoing over the city"Hey Dragon If you Have A Problem You Take it up With Me" a man shouts from the top of a tower looking down. As the sun shined behind him looking like an angel from heaven with his sword in his hand an image I wouldn't dear forget, finally getting the dragons attention. soon the epic battle would begin against hunter vs dragon, the horrifying fight that would change my life forever.
