"Five more minutes," I mumbled to Travis. "NO! Now, there's a fire sweetie," his words made my eyes shoot open. I flipped my covers off and grabbed my dressing gown. "Where are the others?!" I screamed. "Already outside!" he screamed back. I got out alive. But I wondered what started the fire! Just then Travis was no longer at my side. He had disappeared. My eyes started to water. I heard faint little screams. I sighed in relief then ran up to the house that had fallen to its hinges. I helped Travis out. His black hair was all messy and he no longer had straight wings. I started to cry as he looked dreadful. "I'm fine Becky," he said to me almost a whisper. I hugged him tightly. Then I helped him limp back to the group. Paige sighed. "You two, your wings are no longer straight! Eugh! But that doesn't matter right now does it?" she stopped her comment and turned it into an apologetic question. "No it does not," I said my eyes glued to Travis's. Zara came up to me and hugged us tight. "Becky, don't worry, his gift is for to heal quicker than anyone else, that by he might not need an appointment for the doctors," she tried to cheer me up. "I guess you're right, he might be better by tomorrow!" I said. "What time is it?" Paul moaned. Zara stuck her tongue out Paul and flipped her phone up. "6:50am," she answered his question. "I'm away to phone a travel inn," Ray said walking away from Paige.

The next day Travis was already up and walking and his talking were much better. He had completely healed. We were staying in the travel inn until we could find a new home. Paige was brushing my wings. We were angels. You could say 'evil' angels. But I like to call them dark angels. Since we had all been recognized for our strange behaviour we had been kicked out and sent to a different town. Paige then stopped brushing my wings, so I went to see Travis. My gift was to read minds. "I love you too," I whispered when I was close enough to hear his thoughts and for him to hear me. I walked into the room and stood at the side of the bed. He came over and took his hands in mine and we sat on the bed. He then leaned forward for my lips and when we were an inch away from our first kiss Paul came barging into the room. No one knew we were secret lovers so Travis immediately darted back from my face and freed his hands. "Hey, Travis, wanna go skateboarding?" Paul asked. "Sure," Travis answered. He left the bed and my eyes followed his every footstep. I then fell back on the bed messing up my wings. "Eugh! I just brushed them, Becky!" Paige shouted. Paige had a gift on seeing through walls. "Oops!" I shouted back. Then I giggled.

It was the next day and I was down at the park with the girls Paige and Zara. Every boy there was staring at me. Did I look- bad? Then Paige finally found a corner and we sat down in it. Paige then started playing with my hair. "By the way, every boy has been staring at you, you made yourself look so good and now they're all falling for you," Zara said, sounding excited. "It is time for you to get a man, Becky," Paige added still playing with my hair. "Oh no, no thanks. I'm good for now," I pleaded with them as I still was totally in love with Travis. Just then the boys walked by. Travis is the middle, Paul on his right and Ray on the left. Everything about Travis gleamed in the sun. His deep black, shaggy, short hair covering one on his eyes and nearly flattened. His wings made a beautiful effect with him. And he is just breathtaking and speechless to talk about. They came over to us. Paul hugged Zara and Ray hugged Paige. Yet I let alone again. "Wanna go for a walk, Becky?" Travis asked me. I nodded and sprung to my feet. I ran to catch up with him as he was already walking to the forest. When we were a distance away from everyone else, he walked over to me and leaned close and forced him lips against mine. I felt so good that it was like little fireworks were exploding above us. It was our very first kiss. He let go of me after 3 minutes. Then hugged me close. "I love you," he said aloud. "I love you too," I said back. We then hugged each other. We heard rustling in the bushes. Then a bunch of gangsters come into our clearing. They started mumbling things to us. We were outnumbered and cornered. My wings just wouldn't force me off the ground. I buried my head into Travis' arm and closed my eyes tight. The next thing I knew I was unconscious. But for how long.

Several hours later I knew I was awake but my eyes wouldn't allow me to open them. There were mumbles all around me and I recognized them all apart from one. It was a different boy's voice. "Is she okay?" The voice asked. "I think so," Zara said, "Travis why the flipping hell did you leave her lying in the woods?" Zara then sounded like she was angry and facing Travis. "No, he did it for me," I wanted to say. It was no use trying to talk. "Those gangsters followed me, Zara, I don't know why, but I left her safe," Travis defended himself. "Then how did she grow unconscious?" Paige interrupted. "I don't know but she faints to stuff she really wants and gets. I knew she wanted to kiss me and we had our first kiss. It was all that. So it's my fault." He now held my hand. "I love you," he whispered. I think a smile was on my face.

That was the best day of my life. But now they had laid me in my bed and allowed me to sleep. I rested through the whole day, the next day as well. I never knew I could grow that tired. I am always hyper. But I guess that was a whizz. Hopefully I'll wake up tomorrow!
