15 year old Amber has been followed by her shadow ever since she was born. On Ambers 16th birthday her shadow disappears. Amber must find a way to get her mysterious friend back at her side at once, but what if she can't?
------------------------•------------------------------ My shadow has followed me my whole life! My Mom said I named it Mamry when I was younger but now I just call it shadow. My best friend is ironically named Mamry. I have seriously done EVERYTHING with Mamry since we were 10. She lives in a barn down the street from me with her 3 dogs and 2 cats and of course her animals. Her parents are on an expedition in Peru so she's alone. I offered her a room in my house but she really wants to live with her animals. She's a vegetarian so she wants to get closer with her animals. Mamry and I first met in the 3rd grade but didn't get close until 4th grade. She's the only one that understands my obsession with my shadow. We both know the logical explanation for shadows, but what if that's not the real explanation for them? They couldn't be from some underground world. I like to think its a dead family member or a zodiac spirit watching over me. My zodiac sign is a Aries but Mamrys is a Gemini. Mamry and I have been saving up to go to Japan when we grow up, but we both know it's not going to happen. This is Mamry and I- This is me•

There's never been a moment in highschool when we are not together. We've always been in the same class, Always sat together at lunch, anything you can think of we are together! She's in to more of the "Emo Music" Id rather just listen to Country. A/N• Mamry is based off of me IRL.
Mamrys never really liked anyone she's ever met, like...REALLY like. There was this one guy she liked...His name was Dalton but he's like 20. There was this other guy named Evan but he's really stubborn. I don't get why she likes him in all honesty. Anyway, enough about Mamry. I should probably talk more about myself...it feels like Mamry is me! I'm younger than Mamry by 2 months but we act like the same age. I like this guy named Kyle but Mamry hates him. She hates a lot of people. And a lot of things. Kyle's sweet, funny, and just-ugh💛. Mamry's P.O.V• (Point of view) Ambers obsessed over Kyle. Like, seriously obsessed. When he's not at school she's like "Where's Senpai? I miss Senpai." I'm like "Senpai is in the grave. Because I put him there😈" she gets mad, obviously. Evan on the other hand ISmy boy-friend. Yes the dash is supposed to be there. He's my friend. Nothing more. I just wish that Amber would finally realize how sweet he is. Evan's sweet, funny, and just- ugh💜. Aside from taste in music and men, me and Amber think a lot alike. We like the same ice cream, pizza--now that I think about it we don't really think alike but the thought still counts. We've never gotten into an argument really. I'm heading over to her house tonight for a sleepover. Tomorrow is our first day of being sophomores at highschool. She's really excited and I'm just....bleh☠. I'd rather still be at School of Rock for summer camp but to too "expensive." That night.... Ambers P.O.V• I just heard a knock at the door. It's Mamry.
