One morning, Katelyn wakes up to the sound of the annoying beeping of the alarm. Katelyn moans and slowly gets up taking one step after another to the kitchen. Her mom has made delicious pancakes for her kids on their first day of school. Katelyn does not eat any of the pancakes her mom has made, instead she takes a poptart out of the pantry and runs to the waiting school bus. She may have remembered to eat breakfast but not to get dressed. She figured this out as everyone was laughing at her. Katelyn wonders why the fellow students are laughing, but then it hits her. Katelyn takes her seat and says to her best friend, "how could I have forgotten to get dressed?!" Emry, her best friend tried to calm her down by saying, "At least your pajamas are cute." Katelyn doesn't listen and starts to get up to exit the bus.
"Welcome to 8th grade students," the teacher, Mrs.Ivry says to her homeroom class, Katelyn puts her head down and starts to say, "not today, why today?!" A guy is sitting at the desk next to gets and has a horried look on his face as he looks at her "fabulous" and "school appropriate" outfit.
