"I'M WHAT?" I yelled at my best friend.
"You're pregnant, Izzy," Mike said. He handed me the pregnancy test. Big fat tears rolled down my cheeks. The little plus sign blurred as I swayed. "Woah, careful there Izzy," he said as he caught me. He held me like he always did when we were kids. He was my childhood friend and he would always be my friend.
"How could this have happened?" I whispered. "Why me?"
"I don't know, but come on, let's get you in bed. You still have college classes tomorrow," he swung me up in his arms and carried me from my bathroom to my room. When he lay me down I didn't want to let go so he sighed and shifted to where he was holding me. "You'll have to face the guy tomorrow, you know that, right?" he whispered to me.
"Yeah, I know," I whispered back before succumbing to sleep.
