Black And White

Chapter One - Fairy Tail

  "Come on!" I giggled pulling my brothers hand.

  "For a 19 year old girl you sure act like a child."

  "And for a 19 year old boy you sure act like an old man."

  "Aria, don't call me an old man."

  "Then don't call me a child, noah." He rolled his eyes before smiling brightly. I laughed and pushed open the doors.

The people inside all stopped and looked at us. I smiled standing in front of my brother.

  "And what do we owe the pleasure?" A little old man asked walking up to us.

  "My names aria, and this is my brother Noah, we want to join fairy tail." Cheers where heard throughout the guild hall as I looked at who I'm assuming to be master makarov.

  "You want to join fairy tail?" He asked. He stared at us for a moment before a wide grin spread across his face. "Welcome to the family." I nudged Noah's arm and smiled.

  "I told you we'd be able to join." He side hugged me as master makarov lead us the the back counter.

  "Mirajane, get the stamp." He said happily. I looked at the woman who was named mirajane. She was really pretty, had long white hair and bright blue eyes.

We got our stamps and highfived.

  "So you two are sibling? You don't look much like it." Someone said behind me. I turned finding a man with pink hair. He looked to be around the same age as me and Noah. And he wore a scarf.

  "Twins actually." I said with a chuckle.

  "Sadly."

  "Hey! What's that suppose to mean?" I asked snapping at him.

  "You two are really twins?" A red haired girl asked walking beside the pink haired boy.

  "He take after our mom and I take after our dad." He patted my head as I forced out a smile.

  "Well my names erza, and he's natsu." Erza stuck out her hand for me and I shook it.

  "I'm aria, and that's noah."

Me and my brother looked nothing alike. My hair was black, my banged covered my right eye and my visible one was black. I wore all black clothes, my new guild mark was black. He was white. Both of his eyes where visible though.

But, we grew up with each other, we where the only ones we learned to turn too.

  "So what kind of magic do you use?" Erza asked as we took a seat at a table.

  "Dragon slayer magic." Natsu looked at both of use shocked. The entire guild went quiet and we looked around.

  "We've got four dragon slayers!" They all yelled. "That's so cool!"

  "Four?"

  "Oh, natsu is a fire dragon slayer." Erza said. Another person sat next to erza.

  "I'm Grey." A man with black hair said.

  "What kind of dragon slayer magic do you use?!" Natsu asked excitedly.

  "Uh...well...she uses yin and I use yang." Noah said nervously.

  "So that's why you two look so different."

  "Our mom was a light magic user and our dad was a shadow magic user. They looked like the magic they practiced. And then we where born." Erza gave me a look at how I fourced that sentence out with a smile and cheery voice.

We got to know a lot of people in the guild and then we left to find a place.

After much looking around and cheap houses and stuff we finally found a pretty nice one for a cheap coast, especially if were living together.

  "I think fairy tail will be good for us." Noah said. I looked up to see he had a sad look. I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around him in a hug.

  "Don't be sad, its not your turn." I whispered. He gasped and then hugged me tightly.

  "Its not yours either."

  "You jack ass, you don't understand. Its never been your turn, its always been mine."

  "Why are you so strong now? Why do you protect me?"

  "Because you've protected me for so long now, its my turn to return the favor." I pulled away smiling brightly at him. "I love you noah, you'll always be my twin brother." I kissed him on the cheek before walking back to my bags so I could finish unpacking.

  "So, what do you think of natau, Grey, and erza?"

  "I think they'll be great friends." I glanced up at him through my right eye and saw him looking at me. He was wanting to know if I thought we could trust them. "I think they'll be great friends noah, there's no need to worry."

  "You trust them?"

  "You can hide your emotions behind a smile, but your eyes are the river to your soul."

  "Why are you such a poet?"

  "I'm not a poet, I just like going on the deep end sometimes, besides, its probably nicer than my normal weird giggly mood."

  "Well, what do you want to do now? We have a house, were apart of fairy tail, what's next?"

His question made me stop what I was doing and I clenched my fist.

  "Were getting them back."

  "I know how important they are, I feel the same way. But you know were not strong enough to do that." I spun around to look at him.

  "Then we take a job and we become stronger."

  "Let's do it then. Get some sleep and that's what well do first thing in the morning. He pushed off the door frame and left my room softly closing the door behind him.

I sat on my bed before falling back with a sigh.

  "nicholas, arabella please be okay." I whispered before falling asleep.
