Chapter 8

I can't believe what I just saw. I don't understand. Grayson was with another girl.. I couldn't see who it looked like they were gonna eat each others faces off. I took a deep breathe and walked away. Ethan tried to grab my hand, but I wouldn't let him.

"Can we just go?" I said going towards the car. I was upset, but I wasn't as upset as I should be. He got in the car and neither of us talked. He stopped at my house and gave me this sorry glance.

"Ethan, Im okay." I said jumping out of the car.

"Are you sure?" Ethan said. He knew I wasn't but he was gonna ask anyways.

"Im not but I will be." I said giving a half smile. I started walking to the door when I felt a hand grab my wrist. I turned around so fast. He looked at me right in the eyes and then our lips met. It felt like time froze. I didn't want to move, I couldn't move.

"I like you a lot." He said putting his hands on my face. I couldn't answer him, what was wrong with me. "Oh my gosh, Im sorry. I shouldn't of done that. Im sorry, okay bye" He walked to his car. I was still standing there watching the car leave out of the drive way. I walked into my house and went straight to my room. I shut the door and just sat against it. So many things were going through my head. I cried. I felt like none of this actually happened. I sat there crying and staring for about 20 minutes until I called Emma.

"Hey emma, Do you think you can come over?" It was only 4;30pm'

"Yes, why what happened?" I could hear her grabbing her keys.

"I will tell you once you get here.." I said. I had a lump in my throat. About 5 minutes later I heard a knock on the door. I was the only one home besides my sister, but she was sleeping. I opened it and I guess she could tell I was crying.

"Emily, whats wrong?" She said hugging me. I cried in her arms. I don't know how to tell her everything, but I had too.

"A few weeks ago, I got assigned to do a group project in first hour. I got paired with Ethan Dolan, thats why at lunch that one day he talked to us. We became pretty close over the past few weeks, I started to feel something for him, but I didn't know what it was. I kept denying that I liked him , I mean how could I? But I did. So today when I left school early I went somewhere to think about this stuff. Ethan knew where it was because he showed me. He let me talk to him for a few hours making me finally realize that I truly have feelings for him. After I got done being sad he took me to the mall where I saw Grayson's car. I thought it was kind of weird because he usually dosent come to the mall unless he's with me or Ethan. I walked up to the window to see if he was in there, and he was. He was in there sucking face with some girl. I couldn't see who."

Emma's jaw dropped. "I am so sorry Emily."

"Thats not even the end..." She looked at me with wide eyes. "Tonight after the mall Ethan dropped me off back here. He kept asking if I was okay and I kept saying yes. He followed me to my door and we kissed. I cheated on Grayson too... I wanted him to kiss me. I didn't stop him, but I also didn't say anything after we kissed I froze and Ethan thought I didn't want him to kiss me"

"Man, I don't know what to say..." Emma said hugging me. "If you really like Ethan, then go for him and explain how you feel. Life is too short to not and for Grayson.. he just lost the best girl in the world but you do need to tell him about what happened between you and E and that you saw him cheating."

Emma always had the best advice. "Do you think you can sleepover and tomorrow my mom can just drop us off?" I said

"Don't worry, I already have my stuff." Emma said laughing going to her car.
