John and Ava pulled out of the ICC offices, on their way to Le Gastronomie et vin, the city's premier Food and Wine restaurant in the heart of the city. John was in the driver's seat, Ava in the shotgun of John's fully docked-out Audi A8.
Ava was quite surprised how much interest the ICC CEO had bestowed upon her. She was still wondering whether the CEO was very attentive to all worker needs, or if he paid special attention to her for some reason.

Grace knew that he would be heading to Le Gastronomie et vin, because she knew how much he loved their rich French dishes. So, she decided, she'd surprise him there with just a quick visit, a kiss on the cheek, a tight hug, then leave. She had other business to attend to in downtown anyway.
As she hopped into her car, a black Audi A8, she glanced at her watch. 25 minutes, she thought.

"25 minutes!" exclaimed John cheerfully.
He looked over at Ava, in the other front seat. Glancing up, she smiled just a tad.
