I don't own Miraculous Ladybug or any of it's characters. So don't sue me pls.
Adrien stood in front of the door, a flash of pink light shining through. His hand hovered above the handle, slightly shaking. Plagg came out of his jacket, a piece of camembert in hand.
He heard what Ladybug said, and he definitely didn't want to betray her. All he wanted was to know. This, honestly, was one of the biggest decisions of his life, considering who he really was behind the good looks and rich family.
"This is the time, Adrien, to find out who the love of your life is. Though, don't you have mixed opinions about this? Y'know, the whole, 'No one should know our identities, not even us' thing?" he asked, before gulping the cheese down.
"I know, Plagg. It's just.. I just want to know the girl who I've loved all this time. As herself, not someone with a mask." he kept his voice quiet, in case his dear Ladybug heard behind the door.
"I'm just afraid I'll be disappointed, or even if I'm not, what if Ladybug feels like she's betrayed? I wouldn't be able to live with myself." he sighed.
Plagg shrugged, and returned to Adrien's jacket. Adrien had a long pause, thinking through of whether to do this or not.
With a final deep breath, he finally made his decision.
Meanwhile, behind that door, Marinette was having a somewhat panic attack. She still heard voices, but couldn't make the words out. Tikki floated in front of her saying, "Okay Marinette, breathe. Maybe it's about time you know who he is? You have been putting your trust in him this whole time, might as well know who you're trusting. But, that's just my opinion. Do what you want.". Tikki gave a reassuring smile as Marinette tried listening through the door.
Marinette concentrated on the voices. Even if Chat finally knew who she was, it wasn't the worst thing in the world. If Chat was able to have faith in her this whole time, and still being the best partner a Ladybug could've asked for, she still wasn't sure. She quickly went over all the possibilities in her head, blathering them to Tikki.
"But what if it's someone I know? What if it's someone I hate? What if-" she was interrupted by a certain blonde haired model, specifically, Adrien freaking Agreste, opening the door.
Now while this might seem like a cute moment, the lovers finally meeting, for Marinette, it was the worst. Not because Chat "betrayed" her, but because of her wonderful clumsiness.
Before she got slapped in the face by the door, her head was leaning on it trying to listen, and when Adrien opened it, she was flattened by the wall and the door. She quickly peeked around it, her face red.
"Adrien?!"
"Marinette?!"She couldn't believe who she was seeing. All this time, her ultimate crush was in front of her, flirting with her, kissing her hand, defeating evil with her, heck, putting his life in danger for her. Her eyes widened. One thing she couldn't believe, though, was the lack of puns Adrien has ever made.
In Adrien's mind, he was giving himself a mental slap in the face. He couldn't believe his love of his life, his dear bugaboo, was there in his school the whole time. He felt stupid for not seeing it, the perfect pigtails, the beautiful dark hair, her wonderful blue eyes. Those were all aspects that were shown in Marinette and Ladybug. The only thing that shocked him was how different the personalities were. His lady was brave and selfless, yet Marinette was a girl who could barely say a word to him. But, he definitely wasn't disappointed.
Both of their kwamis came out of hiding and laughed. "Well, let's see the awkwardness that's about to be said." Plagg said sarcastically to Tikki. Tikki laughed, and grabbed a cookie from Marinette's bag to eat while watching the show. "I haven't seen you in a while, Plagg. How you doing?" Tikki said, making small talk with the fellow kwami. "Good. Adrien is one of the best Miraculous holders I've had in a long time, I mean, look at this camembert!" Plagg responded, displaying his food with pride. "Even after all these years, you still eat disgusting food." Tikki rolled her eyes and focused on the two teens.

FanfictionBasically a fluffy version of what I think would've happened if (spoilers ahead, don't read if you're not finished with the series) Adrien opened the door in the episode Lady WiFi. Nothing too triggering, just fluffiness and a couple of swears here...
