Just so everyone knows, you don't need to read this page to understand what is happening in the story, I will explain certain things as they come up and I will try to include some descriptions of the characters. The casting will help, as that is how I picture the characters to be like.
The above picture is how the setting looks sort of like in the first part.
This is just for if you're curious to know more about the story. I know I would be, so that is why I added it. It has some short explanations of the terms, how to pronounce names, and some short character profiles.
I already have a basic plan for where I want it to go, but requests are welcome! If I use a word too much, please let me know because I don't like using the same word repeatedly.
TERMINOLOGY:
Intermind - A place inside of people's minds where they can deal with their emotions, but the only place that demons can jump into and out of. It also holds your deeper thoughts.
Outermind - A place that is adjacent to the intermind, it is where you have your basic thoughts and works like a computer (they can store/delete documents from it)
Internal body - The body that everybody inside of the intermind uses. It doesn't exist in the outermind because the outermind is almost like a normal real life brain.
External body - The body that people use on the actual Earth.
Demon - Virus-like creatures that can jump into interminds. They toy with your emotions and can kill you if you let them take over. They can be killed easily by anyone else who enters the intermind to help you.
Jumper - Demons that have gained enough power (Opi) to materialize on Earth as beings. They look like the humans they have taken their last Opi from before materializing, but they take the form of the first person they kill when they are on earth. They behave more like zombies than humans and if they try to ingest more Opi as a Jumper; they die.
Opi (oh-pie) - Green glowing powder-like power that all demons are after. It is also used by humans who use it like we use electricity. Humans also use it to barter for things that they want to buy, like money.
Ether (eh-ther) - A clear, glass-like cylinder which is used to disperse/collect Opi. Only Keepers get to have one, because in the wrong hands it can be used like a gun (with Opi like it's bullet).
Keeper - Somebody who has a license to keep an Ether. It is, by Law, that only Keepers can use an ether.
Mare -The nightmare part of the intermind, that demons try to keep you in. If you have transitioned over to the blue side; demons can no longer torment you.
Blue - A happy side of your intermind that can only break if there is something wrong with you. If broken, it can be fixed but not completely; making everything a bit sadder for you.
Intermind-Rapports (IRs) - Specially trained Warriors of the mind that kill demons, the only other ones that can go into the intermind.
Generation Y - the generation born between the early 1980s and early 2000s. This is a real thing, guys. This is the generation that Dia always wishes he could have been born in, he also sometimes likes to dress like he is from this generation.
