"Coming mom!" I yell as my mother calls for me from downstairs.

My mom and I were really close. Since I was done with school, I had no siblings, i had no choice but to be close to my mom. My dad left me when I was 9 and I've never really had a father figure. So, I celebrated Father's Day with my mom because she played both roles.

I'm 24, I went to a small community college a few minutes away from my home. I live in Detroit, Michigan and I always have lived there. I'm not the average person you would see on the streets of Detroit. I wear black most of the time and don't listen to the music most people in Detroit listen to. It's more rap and EDM and I like metal, alternative and pop punk.

As I said, I've never fit in wherever I went. I've never really tried to fit in either because people would just think I was annoying or trying to hard or just looking for attention. I've never lived easy. My mom always had to bust her ass to support me by herself because she never had someone else helping her raise me. My mom raised me strong and right.

I was walking down my road to a park with my headphones in and I sat down at a bench. I usually come here if I just need to get out of the house or I have nothing better to do. I've always come here since I was a child. I used to come here if my mom was sad and I had no way of helping her or I was sad myself.

I was too busy In my phone and I felt someone sit next to me and tap my shoulder. It was an older man.

"Hello sweetheart" says the older man.

I got creeped out and I got up and walked to the opposite side of the park to the other bench.

The man still came over and followed me and sat down next to me.

"Why you running away from me baby girl?" The man says

All the sudden out of the corner of my eye I see a guy running up to us. He punches the older man in the face and skateboards the other direction like he didn't want me knowing he did that.

He had long brown hair and a few pieces were in braids and he had a tie dye shirt and black skinny jeans and black toms. He was kinda cute but I don't know why he just rode off and didn't want me to thank him or something.

I shook it off and I started to walk home. I was dazed in my music and I walked into my house.

"Hey Lianna, how was your day?" My mom asked.

"It was good momma."

I walk up the stairs to my room. I lay in my bed and stare at all the posters in the wall recollecting the creepy occurrences that happened today.

I get up out of my bed and plug my phone in and change into my pajamas and lay back into bed.

"Will I ever see the person who saved me ever again?"

I think to myself as I close my eyes and fall into a sleep.
