CHAPTER 11
"Well, where are we," I crouched down in the cave and looked up at River, he gazed down and shrugged.
"I think it's a spiritual world that we are in,"River replied quietly. I thought carefully and nodded. This place made me cringe, this place seemed like the place where I used to hang out with Alice, Cinna and Lucia. Suddenly a hollow voice said something, I recognized the voice immediately.
"Enjoy you time, the only way to get out is too kill me in the real world," The boy's voice echoed through the world. Then after the voice, a small giggle followed it.
"That helps, so now how do we get to the real world?" I said sarcastically.
"We should go explore," River said. I pursed my lips but and then hurried after him.
"By the way, there are slayers in the world so have fun!" The voice said again in the sky. I frowned and then caught something in the corner of my eyes. A bright silvery dagger poked out of the side of a tree.
"Nice camouflage," I muttered to myself, nudging River and whispering to him about the slayer. He charged in without caring and just started a fight, I cringed as he killed the slayer e-motionlessly.
Walking off again into the white forest, then loud foot steps surrounded us. Slayers with a glistering swords circled us and took stance ready to fight. I drew out my sword and got into position as well, River seemed as casual as always, with his sword out he searched around for any escape route. The slayers actually seemed skilled this time, I tried to dodge as many of the attacks as I could but then tiredness started to takeover, River realized it and told me to retreat back to the cave where we first spawned.
I turned and ran out but the slayers ran along, trying to circled around us again. Now there was two groups of slayers, one circled around me and the other around River, suddenly a blade struck down against me, I tried to dodge aside but the sword hit the side of my shoulder. I winced as blood poured out of the wound. Then a slayer punched me on the face, I felt helpless against the slayers. My head swirled as everything in front of me fell into complete blackness.

My eyes blurred and then cleared again as I regained consciousness, I fully knew where I was, I stood up from the kneeling position I was in before and slowly walked to the metal bars that kept me sealed, the cell was underground and had no guards. The slayers must have been extremely confident that none of their prisoners could escape.
I gripped my shoulder as I remembered about the cut, I ripped off a piece of my clothing and tied it around the wound. I held the bars tightly, peering outside of my cell. Suddenly a thought hit me, I could just teleport out. I focused my powers but it seemed futile, nothing happened, then I found out the reason, the cells blocked magic from being used.
I sat down in the cell, I felt like a depressed, useless, caged chicken. I stared up at the roof for so long, I felt like my neck was about to snap, I just couldn't think of a way to get out. Suddenly a loud noise upstairs broke my concentration, I ran toward the front of the cells and tried to see what was going on, but I couldn't.
Continuous loud sounds echoed up stairs, including painful screams and the clashing of weapon. Then, there was loud walking sounds going down the stairs from above, also there was a soft dragging noise across the floor, the sound was probably a sword. I tensed as I leaned against at bars that was ice cold.
A silhouette emerged from the turn of the staircase and walked to my cell, as the silhouette walked into the light, I finally saw the figure. Letting out a breath of relief, I exhaled.
River slashed open the cell bars and tilted his head at me. River put out a helping hand to help me out. I smiled.
"Thanks, again," I took his hand and got out of the cell. He nodded and a gave slight smile."Lets get out of here."
"Okay."
Running out of the slayers base took a lot longer than I thought, the place was so big that it seemed like a maze. At last, after about a full ten minutes, we got out. I exhaled, relieved that we could get out.
"Oh... By the way, how's your shoulder?" River asked looking at it.
"It'll be fine," I replied as we stopped walking in the white forest.
"No, it's not, I'll try to find the herb to heal it, just wait here," River stared at the wound as he untied the piece of cloth I had used to wrap it with. I sat down on a nearby log. I smiled.
I didn't know River could be so caring. I thought to myself, careful not to say it out loud just in case he got mad, but that chance was slim to none. I started to settle down just as River returned suddenly.
"That was quick," I remarked, quite stunned about the fact that he was back already.
"Y...Yeah there was some nearby," River stuttered as if not expecting me to say that.
I felt slight suspicious that River was hiding something from me, or more like from our whole group.
