I look into the mirror and run my fingers across the dark bags under my hazel green eyes, my skin looks more pale than ever.
"Great." I mumble to myself.
I get in the shower and wash my hair about 3 times just so I can make sure that the oil will strip from my light brown hair.
I gently scrub at my skin, staring blankly at the purple bruises from taking those self defense classes.
Dad kept insisting Kaitlyn and I take them after he fired his assistant Bruce, who then decided to threaten dad and his entire family.
It was later discovered that Bruce, went into dad's office to try and hack his computer and find out information on his funds and us.
Thankfully though, the security system alerted police and they got there before he got to anything valuable.I snap out of my trance whilst I brush my teeth and then rush to the closet to pick out my favorite ripped jeans and beige cardigan. I match it with some black ankle boots.
Transferring to a new high school was dreadful, more dreadful than sleeping with no fan on the hottest summer night.
"Are you ready sweety?"
I look at up at mom.
Her face full of joy. I look away trying to hide the little panic attack that's about to take over my body."Yes mommy, you know how long I've waited to go to this school." I say sticking my tongue out.
I turn to look at Kaitlyn, her pearly whites are showing, letting me know she heard the sarcasm in my voice.
"Let's go big sis before we're late!"
Big sis I think to myself, eyeing Kaitlyn up and down. I'm older by one year yet she's outgrown me. Her dark brown hair reaches mid waist. And her dark brown chocolate doey eyes gleam so bright.
I'd say she's around 5'6, while I on the other hand am 5'3.Kaitlyn decides we should drive to school as opposed to Jack our chauffeur, taking us and drawing attention onto ourselves.
We come around the back of the school and let's just say the view is breathtaking.
Better than our old school.
One look around and you can tell that only preppy and snobby kids go here.
The school almost looks like a modern version of the Hogwart's castle. Beautiful stained glass windows and a huge parking lot filled with nothing but beautiful willow trees. As we walk in to school I turn to tell Kaity that I am heading to the bathroom but instead I come face to face with a backpack and fall back on my ass.
"Holy shit!?!"
It takes me a while to realize that I'm just sitting on the floor and can't seem to get up.
I look up to find a guy just staring down at me, the one I just bumped into.
God he's gorgeous.
I'm intrigued with his golden brown eyes, almost like honey and his dark brown spiky hair and cute little moles plastered around his face. He looks like a giant to me, I'm assuming around 6'0.
My eyes wander down his body and I can see his abs pressing through the material of his thin shirt.
For a second I forget to breathe.
His gaze never leaving mine.
Then he snaps."Watch it gremlin." he says in an annoyed tone.
I snap back to reality. Way to go Sophia.
"Ss-sorry." My face is cherry red.
That's all I manage to choke out as he walks away without looking at me twice.
"Don't worry about him, he's a douche." A smirk creeps up on this brunettes face, as she stretches out her hand to help me up.
She's beautiful, fair skin with jet black hair and her dimples make her seem so innocent.
"Nice to know not everyone is an ass." I say as I take her hand.
