“hey…slow down.” He whispered into my ears and it gives me shivers.

The voice is so familiar and I looked back to justify my thoughts. My eyes widened of what I had just saw. I was in state of shock and at the same time happy.

Napansin kong ang lakas ng tibok ng puso ko at tumayo lahat ng balahibo ko.

He’s back? Seriously?

“BLU!” I cheerfully shouted. Inalalayan niya akong makatayo ng maayos tapos hinawakan niya ang kamay ko at hinila palabas.

Mas lalo siyang gumwapo sa kanyang blue tuxedo. Hindi ko inakalang nakita ko siya ulit for how many months. Gusto ko siyang yakapin.

Dinala niya ako sa oval ng school. Medyo maliwanag naman dulot ng mga lamp posts. Binitawan niya ang kamay ko. “WOW! Ang ganda mo taba!”

Umismid ako sa narinig ko. “TABA? Hindi na kaya.”

“ang laki ng binago mo. Pumayat ka na talaga. Pero sa mga mata ko, mataba ka pa rin.” tawa niyang sabi.

“tsshhhhh…….” With making faces. “bumalik ka?”

“so alam mo na pala. Yap. Kararating ko lang kahapon from England. Sorry kung hindi ko tinupad yung wish mo. Di kasi kita matiis. Pero sana hayaan mo muna akong makita ka kahit ngayon lang.” pakiusap niya.

“okay lang noh. Sorry nga pala sa mga sinabi ko sayo nung birthday ko ha. Nadala lang ako sa emosyon ko……….Na miss kita.” Hiya kong sabi sa kanya.

He smiled and hugged me. “I miss you more.”

His warm embrace that made me feel so secure and safe. He detached from the hug and sighed.

“may sasabihin ako sayo Sab.”

“ano yun?” He sighed again and again and again. “BLU!” I stopped him.

“I…………” he breathes deeply. “Sab……I……” he’s cutting the words and it thrills me.
