Part Ten - Surprise!

I really wanted to get some shots of the sights around me before we left in a few days. I decided to go in an old diner which was across the street from the rehearsal studio. As soon as I stepped inside I quickly picked up the smell of pancakes and waffles. The smell quickly made my mouth water as I walked towards the host station.

"Hello, how many are joining you today?" A young women asked who was dressed in a classic 80's uniform.

"Oh it's just me." I replied.

"That's fine, if you'd like to follow me to your seat now." She said before quickly picking up a menu and guiding me to my table. "Here you are." She said once we reached a table. "Hope you enjoy your meal!" 

"Thank you" I said quickly while sitting down on the chair.

After smelling the food from before, I knew straight away that I needed some waffles. I ordered and took some quick photos of the diner while I waited. Once the food arrived I coated the waffles in nutella and powdered sugar then dug straight in.  I paid the bill  when I finished and left a tip as all the staff were lovely.

When I stepped outside I noticed a small shopping center. I figured that I'd go clothes shopping since I was in need of a few more outfits. Once I stepped inside I made my away around some shops that seemed interesting and matched my style while taking pictures along the way. I found a big coat in Topshop that I thought would be ideal for the cold weather in England. As I was in the line to pay for my items I felt my phone buzz in my pocket.

TEXT MESSAGE:

From: Mikey

Hey B, Rehearsal is done. Can I meet up with u? 

To: Mikey

Sure. In shopping mall down the street. Meet u outside in a few minutes x

I quickly paid for my items and made my way to the entrance of the building.

"Hey Mike, what's up?" I said as I spotted Michael and made my way over to him.

"I just wanted to see you. We haven't had much chance to hang out just us two so I've got a surprise for you." He seemed very excited.

"Ooo, what is it?" Michael knows how much I love surprises.

"It's a secret, now lets head back to the hotel and freshen up." He grabbed my arm and pulled me towards a taxi rank. We quickly got in and asked them to take us to the hotel.

Once we reached the room I quickly had a shower and got changed into a high neck jumpsuit with my white converse. I blow dried my hair and put it into a messy bun. Michael insisted that I take a jacket because where we were going it will be very cold so I grabbed a leather jacket which was on the floor. I decided not to put any makeup on because it was now past 4pm and it would soon be too dark to see my face properly. 

"You done B?" He asked while continuing to pay his attention towards his phone.

"Yep finished. Now can I know where we are going?" I said while unplugging my phone from it's charger and grabbing my camera and putting them into my handbag.

"You're only finding out when we get there. Now come on let's go!" I pulled a sad face towards him so that he would try and tell me the answer but it was just returned with a laugh and him dragging me out of the room.

He continued to grab my arm and pull me everywhere (including over a mat which caused me to trip and fall over) until we reached the taxi waiting outside. 

"Where are we going today then?" The taxi man asked.

"Here please." Michael said while handing him a small note. God sakes, he has all of this planned out very well. It's a good job I like secrets.

"The boys are joining us later on, I just wanted to spend some time together first. We haven't done that much during the tour." He said to me once we started to set off.

"That's fine. Even Ashton?" I had to ask to make sure they were all friends again. I shouldn't care if they all hate Ashton but for some reason I do.

"Yep, we're cool now. I've missed you Brooke, this tours been so surreal so I can't wait to just have fun tonight."He smiled at me and put his hand on my leg and squeezed slightly.

"I've missed you too Mike." I then leaned in to hug him.

"Alright now you need to put this on." He said while pulling out a blindfold out of his pocket. "I want you to have the full effect of the surprise."

"Fine, just to please you." I said and put the blindfold on. 

We continued to talk throughout the taxi ride. This continued for around 10 minutes until the taxi stopped.

"Thanks man." Mike said to the taxi driver. "Brooke wait there I'll come round and get you."

"Okay." I replied

I then heard a door open and close and after a few seconds another open. Michael grabbed my hand and lead me out of taxi, shutting the door once I was out.

I still had not clue where we were, but it was very loud. I could hear lot's of people laughing and screaming excitedly. There was was various tunes of music playing and when I sniffed it smelt like salt.

Are we near the beach?

After a short time walking Michael stopped.

"Alright, you ready?" He asked.

"Sure am." I replied. I could feel myself getting really excited.

"Take your blindfold off in 3...2...1... NOW!" He said

I lifted the blindfold up and was in awe of what I saw. 

"SURPRISE!!" He shouted.

Left at a slight cliffhanger. I wonder where Michael has taken Brooke?
