I wake up to my cat walking on me and I flinch.
"Fucking hell" I whisper to myself and I drag myself out of bed.
I throw on a hoodie and I walk down my stairs and I didn't see my mom there so she was probably at the grocery store or something. I put coffee on and I sit on the couch and turn on the tv.
My phone starts to ring and it was my friend Flynn. He has been my friend since we were kids and Iwas the first person he came out gay to.
"Hey babes" he says
"What's up?" I ask.
"Do you wanna go to the mall with me today? I need to get new liquid lipsticks" Flynn says.
"Yeah just give me time to get ready and stuff."
"Okay girl, text me when you want me to pick you up." He says.
I hang up the phone and I go to get my coffee from the coffee pot. I look out my window and I see a guy skateboarding up a drive way. He looked exactly like the guy who punched the creepy guy at the park.
I walk outside and he smiles at me and skates over to me. My heart stops. He's so cute and he seems so nice.
"Weren't you the girl at the park that almost basically got molested?" He says laughing.
He seemed so charming and so nice.
"Uh yes I was"
"I'm Dakota, Dakota Wint." He says putting his arm that didn't hold his skateboard out for a hand shake.
"I'm Lianna." I say shaking his hand and blushing.
"There's no need to blush sweetheart. I'm just a normal person." He says.
It was really awkward. I had no idea what to say.
"Well can I have your number? Maybe we can hang out or something sometime since we live close to each other and I enjoy your presence" Dakota says smiling and handing me his phone.
I type my number into his phone and I smile and walk back into my house. I start dancing around the house smiling and screaming.
He was sooooo cute!!!!
I totally forgot I had to go to the mall with Flynn. I go into my closet and pick out a My Chemical Romance Muscle Tee and leggings and purple and black creepers. I go into the bathroom and start to put my makeup on and straighten my hair.
I get done and I text Flynn to come get me. I put my charger, my headphones and all my credit cards and money and extra stuff into my small shoulder bag when I hear Flynn honk outside.
He was wearing his black extra skinny jeans and his black crop top and vans. His hair was perfectly slicked to the back. I get into the car to his music blasting.
"Hey girl." Flynn says driving off.
"Flynn oh my gosh I met this cute boy that lived across the street and he asked for my number and I basically died" I say over excited.
"I wish I could meet cute boys like you do." Flynn says laughing as we pull into the mall parking lot.
Flynn and I walk into the mall when I hear my phone buzz and I look down and my heart stops.

I try to find my words and I don't know what to say without sounding awkward or obsessive or annoying.
"You okay lia?" Flynn asks.
"Yeah I'm fine, Dakota just texted me and I don't know what to say."
I started typing and I just basically said the first thing that came to my mind.

I smiled because it didn't go that bad I guess. Flynn and I go into different stores and of course he buys a lot and I buy all the stuff I need for the house or just for me myself.

We walk out of the mall and I've been texting Dakota the whole time. He is so unbelievably nice and I hope we can still be friends.
Flynn drops me off at my house and I walk up to my door and there's a peace tea with a note on it.
Figured you'd want a peace tea. Picked it up just for you -D
I smiled. I only met him this morning and he's being so nice to me. I walk inside and I put all my stuff down and I take off my sweater and sit on my couch and turn on the tv.
my phone buzzed.
Hey Lianna, I was wondering if you would wanna maybe go hang out at the park or something with me tomorrow or whenever you can? 🤓
I smiled and I texted him back.
Of course! Maybe tomorrow at 3?
he answered back pretty quickly.

It was starting to get late and I walked up to my room. My mom was out with a few of her friends so I had the house all to myself. I change into my pajamas and I lay into bed.
I'm so beyond excited to hang out with Dakota. I hope it goes well though.
My thoughts make me fall to a deep sleep.
