He felt himself shake a little, then his feet sliding forward and off the bed, before his arms were pulled in front of him and he finally opened his eyes, he couldn't see who was actually in front of him though. Danny reached up with his free hand and rubbed at his eyes with the back of them, ridding them slightly of their stolen sleep. "Come on Danny, there's a flight in under an hour." He smiled slightly at his boyfriend's voice before he yawned and stretched, focusing his eyes in on Jordon. Who, unlike Danny, was fully dressed and ready to leave. "Babe, we gotta drop Scarlet off first too. Reese isn't picking her up from the airport this time." Danny groaned, but obliged anyways and stood up, quickly wrapping his arms around Jordon. He chuckled. "Danny, we gotta go. At this rate you won't even be able to do your hair properly."
Danny buried his face into Jordon's neck "I guess we can't go then." He mumbled softly. Jordon wrapped his own arms around Danny and swayed with him slightly.
"You know we can't do that." He said softly.
"I know I know." He said defeated before pulling away. Jordon smiled at him and kissed his forehead before turning to leave their bedroom.
"You've got twenty minuets babe." Danny groaned again, making Jordon smile before walking out.
Danny looked around their room, he was so tired he felt drunk almost, his fault for staying up so late to pack. It was three nights only and he was up late packing. He offered to pack for himself and Jordon, then he had to pack for Scarlet. Maybe Jordon was right about his over packing. But it was mostly over thinking on what they'd actually need and want for three nights away from home. Scarlet was easier to pack for, but needed more. By the time he was done, Jordon was long since asleep and it was nearly two in the morning. He had crawled into bed silently and wrapped one arm around his sleeping lover while placing his head on his chest, and fell asleep quickly.
As promised, Danny was ready in 20 minuets and walked down stairs carrying his suitcase and Scarlets backpack. He set them down next to their other bags by the door and turned around to see a smiling Jordon. "Hey, you actually made it on time today." He laughed.
"Yeah, but my hair looks like shit." He complained running his hands through it. "Do you know where my hat is?" He looked at Jordon with half puppy-dog eyes.
"Danny, it's just hair." Jordon said smiling before pulling one of Danny's beanies out of his back pocket "but here, I knew you'd want it." Danny took it smiling, and placed it over his "messy" hair before yawning again. He ran his hand over his face and felt his stubble. 'God I must look like shit' he thought to himself.
"Scar, are you ready to go see mommy?" Jordon called out, summoning Danny's young and bubbly daughter. She ran up to Danny and wrapped her arms around his leg
"I'm gonna miss you Daddy!" She said as she buried her face into it. He slowly bent down to pick her up. He didn't say anything, honestly, he looked ready to fall asleep standing there. After a moment Danny finally spoke up again, still in a sleep heavy voice.
"I'll miss you too baby girl." Jordon glanced up at the clock then back at Danny and Scarlet before sighing softly.
"But you know who misses you right now?" Jordon stepped over and out a hand over Danny's on her back
"Mommy!" She cheered pulling away from Danny, who set her on the floor again.
After packing the car Danny climbed into the passenger seat as Jordon strapped Scarlet in before climbing into the drivers seat. He glanced over at Danny who was already half asleep in his seat, he knew it wouldn't last long. Scarlet was already hyper and bouncing in her seat. He turned the radio to 105.1 country and turned it down as they pulled out of the driveway and into the street.
