Chapter IV

A/N: Hi guys! I'm sorry that I haven't updated in forever. I'm trying to publish more often so please bear with me. Enjoy!!

Zoro's POV
I sat up and stretched, my joints groaning in protest. I looked at my alarm clock which read 10:00. Oh crap, I thought, I overslept! I had meant to get up at 8:00. I jumped out of bed and ran to my cupboard. I grabbed out a white shirt and dark green pants. Quickly putting them on, I ran to the kitchen. My dad was sitting on a chair with his feet on the table, reading the morning newspaper. He looked up as I grabbed an apple and headed for the door.

"Where are you going?" He asked, looking at me questioningly.

"To meet my friends, why?" I asked, as I turned and glared at him.

"Just wondering," he said as he turned back to the paper. I felt tempted to pull a face at him but I just walked out the door. Now which way do I go?
A few hours later I found the park and saw my friends sitting at a bench.

"Hey Zoro, what took you so long?" Luffy shouted, standing up and waving.

"He obviously got lost again, he has no sense of direction." I heard Usopp explain. Luffy nodded in realisation.

"You idiots!" Nami shouted, whacking the two of them on their heads.

"Ooooh Nami your so cute when you're angry." Sanji swooned sitting next to Nami. All of my friends are crazy, I thought, shaking my head as I sat down.

"So what are we doing here again?" Luffy asked as everyone face palmed.

"You were the one who told us all to meet here, remember?" Usopp asked, shaking his head.

"Ooh, that's right!" Luffy said, " lets go to a restaurant and eat meat!"

"THATS WHAT YOU CALLED US ALL HERE FOR??!!" We all shouted, standing up. Well, I though, at least I'm out of the house.

"We might as well go out anyway, I mean we're here now." I said, determined not to go home till my dad was gone.

"I do need some new clothes," Nami said, "perhaps I can get some while Luffy stuffs his face."

"I'll help you choose clothes Nami dear." Sanji said, edging closer to her. Nami edged as far away from him as she could.

"Stop being an idiot, you lovesick moron." I said, jolting Sanji back to reality.

"Who are you calling a moron, moss head?" Sanji said, walking over to me.

"Stop it right now, you're both idiots!" Nami ordered.

"I'm so excited!" Luffy said, bouncing around, drool dribbling off his chin. You're always excited when it comes to food, I thought as he ran past me shouting something about meat.

"Whose paying for it this time?" Sanji asked, looking around.

"Not me, I got nothing." Usopp said, pulling out his pockets.

"Neither do I." Sanji said.

"I would never waste money on him." Nami said, the horror in her voice obvious.

"It's okay guys." I said, pulling out the change from last night," I'll pay this time."

"Okay guys, lets go eat meat!" Luffy said walking up to us. He grabbed the money before running off toward the shop.

"Hey Zoro, aren't you always broke?" Usopp asked, looking confused.

"Ohh, it's just change from my dinner last night." I said, yawning as I followed the others to the shops.

"You really shouldn't eat so much takeaway Zoro." Nami said. I just shrugged in response.
