There is a loud ringing in my ears. I feel so much pain its unbearable. My head is light and my vision is fading in and out. I hear car tires screeching. I look over to see a car speeding away. I'm motionless. I try to yell for them to stop, but I only let out a slight groan.
My stomach hurts tremendously. I reach down and feel something hard, pointed, and wet. I lift my hand up and look at it. Blood... My hand is covered. I try lifting my head to look, but I feel a sharp pain in my back. I manage to keep my eyes focused long enough to get a glimpse of my body.
There is what looks like a piece of metal in my chest and a large gash on my left leg. My arm is under me. I try to pull it out but it hurts so I stop. I try to get up and see if I can manage to walk and get some help, but I can't feel my legs let alone move them. I'm bleeding... A lot. I need help, fast. I try to yell again, this time to my surprise I get a little squeak out.
I lay for a while just trying to look around at my surroundings, but its getting hard so see. My vision is blurry and I can't make out shapes. All I can hear is wind in the trees and an occasional squawk of a crow... No cars... No voices... Nothing. I feel my heart slowing with every minute I lay here... Helpless... And alone.
