Astrid POV
So I just woke up with a giant chocolate pancake in front of me even though my parents know I like waffles better, then I see my idiot little brother constantly teasing me out side of my door way...about my SpiderMan, SuperWoman, and BatMan pjs but, I end up ignoring him. Instead I draw my attention to a little card on a foot sized, wooden tray. The bright turquoise card says"To our dearest daughter Astrid,
I know it has been hard because of the starting of high school, your brother, and probably us...but, we both knew how much you love your online things or what ever they are. So if you want to you can come down stairs after breakfast.~With Love, Mom and Dad
Ps~ ;)"UGHHHHH THAT FACE!! I DONT KNOW WHY BUT, I HATE IT!! I thought to myself. Why does Dad always do that? It's more annoying than my stupid little brother Castor.
After I devoured the chocolate pancake which was surprisingly pretty good, I ran down the stairs like I was running a marathon while my most feared thing, a bee, chased me down the steps and into the dark brown living room.
Once I saw my GIANT box the almost the size of the golden retriever next door, my heart lept into a random cloud in the sky... Wait no,.. It lept billions of light years away, because of how excited I was when my eyes caught onto why the wrapping paper was bright green and black stripes. IT WAS THE BRAND NEW XBOX ONE!! (Even though the XboxONE isn't THAT new, I don't care :P)
I ran down to the floor and shredded the wrapping paper as if it was Christmas and in my eyes the XboxONE cardboard box had a gold, glowing halo over it and I heard angles in my head sing "Hallelujah". After basically tearing the box into millions of pieces I finally got open the XboxONE console, controllers, and some of the wiring. I plugged it in behind our flat screen tv changed a bit of our settings, set up the account *AstridWasntHereXD* (I don't own or know this account on Xbox)
After playing for at least all day until 5:43PM, I realized I didn't even think about how I didn't even say "Thanks" or "Thank You" to my parents. So I paused the weird new game Minecraft I had gotten and walked up too both of my parents outside on the porch, still in my pjs, and I said"I'm so sorry I didn't say thank you earlier, so thank you.." I said sincerely but, before they could answer we heard a
"OHH YEAH!! TAKE THAT DUDE"!!! We heard Castor yell from the house. We all stood up as if it was a gun shoot we heard and walked to my brother to only find him sitting on the couch playing skywars and he thought he was winning but, jumping off the island is the opposite... Clearly he had never played video games before. I yell before my parents said anything
"GET OFF MY GAME ALREADY CASTOR"!!!!! Castor looked at my parents as if we was saying why can't we share? As if he'd even let me play his Nintendo. Which I didn't really care about because when I asked to help him understand Super Mario Bros he said
"NO WAY!! Your too old of this game"! It was stupid. He's an 11 year old boy.. He can't always do everything perfect for the first time,... Knowone can. Suddenly my Mom said
"Honey,.. This is Astrid's game not yours.. Besides,.. I'm sure you don't wanna share your games with her". Then, Out of the corner of my eye I could see my Dad almost nodding at him. Suddenly Castor threw the Xbox controller on to he couch as if he was going to break it in half with an axe...
Angerly, Castor stormed up too the stairs and it literally looked like there was a lightning and rain cloud above him...(Cliffhanger!! HAHAHAHA!! I'm so evil XD anyways I wanted to tell the random person MAYBE people reading this that I will TRY to update this story AT THE LEAST every WEEK! Sorry, at the moment I'm VVVEEERRRYYY busy!)
