Feelings are like waves,
They come,
Crash in to you,
And then go.
Each continuous wave slowly destroying you
It changes how you feel,
What others feel,
And basically the world around you
We meet many people that'll help pick you up after each bashing.
These are people I treasure,
People that I'll remember for my life,
And that's what we call friends
But there's a line some people cross,
They'll help build you up farther,
Even if the bashing has stopped.
They build up the walls,
Set up the alarms,
And supports you for every step you take.
