"And, here's your baby girl!"

The doctor held a small infant, crying and covered in blood. "I... I had twins? I thought the doctor said I was only having a boy." The breathless woman with long blonde hair who had just given birth looked at the doctor in confusion, not processing anything at the moment.
"You may come in now, Mr. Hope."
A short, brown haired nurse walked in, followed by a brown haired man.
"David? Is that you? " The woman's eyesight started to grow hazy.
"Of course, my love. We have 2 beautiful children. We can name them once you've recovered." David smiled proudly, looking as if he might cry at any moment.
"I've already picked names." She mumbled.
David tilted his head. "Yes?"
She smiled at her husband. "The boy will be named..." She broke off as her eyelids grew heavy and she fell into a black abyss of sleep.

~~~~~~
She opened her eyes later on and saw her husband sitting in a chair beside the bed, crying. "Huh? David, has something happened?" She rubs the sleep from her eyes.
"Oh, Kate, I hadn't realized you were awake." He wipes his eyes and put on a smile.
"Don't flash me a fake smile! You know I hate that!" She snapped at him which caused him to nod his head and sigh.
"I... I'm scared Kate. "
"Of what?"
"Losing him. The doctors said something was wrong with our son's breathing. He has, some sort of disease." He laid his head in his hands.
Kate sat in her bed and all she could manage was a nod. "Well. We'll make sure he gets all of the love he deserves. The doctors were wrong about me having 1 child, I'm sure they'll be wrong again. His breathing will go back to normal soon." She managed a smile.
David returned the smile and moved closer. "So, our babies are going to need names."
"I've already picked. The girl will be Lowell(Low well), for her future. And the boy.... He will be... Kibou(key bow). A word that means hope."
