Hermione's POV:

It was Ron.

I began to panic.

So far, no one had noticed my scars.

What if Ron pointed them out?

I hope he doesn't.

I stood there, panicking.

Ron stepped out from behind a pillar.

He was grinning.

I tried to back away, but I was frozen.

He advanced towards me.

He stopped.

He looked me over from head to toe.

Like the waiter, his eyes stopped on my chest.

I immediately was frightened.

However, Draco stepped in front of me.

"Back off. She's mine." Draco growled.

Ron put on a scared face.

"Oh no! Are you going to sic your little ferret on me?" Ron asked.

Draco quickly drew out his wand.

At this, Ron really was scared.

He backed away.

He looked one last time at me before he fled.

Draco stepped away.

"Sorry about that." He said.

Instead of answering, I hugged him.

"It's okay." I said into his chest.

"So. Is this party a little drab?" Draco asked me.

I nodded.

"Let's go home." I said.

Draco nodded.

I took his arm and disappeared with a pop.

*one day later*

I was heading to my little café for work.

I saw smoke in the sky as I exited the house.

Some idiot probably set a fire trying to light a cigarette.

People these days.

As I walked on, I seemed to be getting closer to the smoke.

A firetruck wailed past me.

There was a ringing in my ears from its siren.

I continued on my way.

However, the smell of smoke only got stronger as I progressed.

I ran the rest of the way.

When I saw what was on fire, I gasped.

It was my café.

I ran as far to the front as I could.

"What's going on?" I asked a nearby firefighter.

"Arson. Someone set this place on fire." He said.

I nodded.

"It definitely wasn't the ovens. I turned them off two days ago." I said.

The firefighter nodded.

"So you're the owner of this place?" He asked.

"Yea." I said.

"Well, I'm sorry about your café." He said, placing a hand on my shoulder.

I stepped aside to remove his hand from my shoulder.

And despite all the muggles around me, I apparated back to the house.

By this time, I was crying.

I entered the front door and made my way to Draco's bedroom.

He looked up as I entered, looking like a wreck.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Someone set my café on fire." I said.

"I'm sorry, Hermione." He said, pulling me to him.

"It's alright."

So.

Hallo.

How are you?

I hope that you didn't break your device while reading this chapter, because then you can't read my book anymore!

Well, bye.

Lots of love and Potter vibes, Vanessa
