Harry

My mom and my dad are taking forever to say goodbye to me and my sister.

"Okay, guys, seriously, We're going to be late!" I tell them. Most of the people here have dispersed and now they're all in their cabins.

"Oh, alright, alright!" My mother says as she gets back into her car. My dad gives my sister another kiss on the forehead and me a pat on the back before following behind my mom. Gemma and I both grab our bags and she heads over to the woman in khaki shorts and a green polo, with a whistle wrapped around her neck and a clipboard in her hands. I go over to the male version of her.

"Hey, there, camper. I'm director Kurt, and you are...?" He introduces himself without looking at me, only scanning his papers.

"Harry.. Harry Styles," I tell him.

"You're late, Styles. The only cabin we have left is a three person. You'll be staying in cabin 137 with Zayn Malik and Liam Payne. I'm the male campers' director, Kurt. Find me if you need anything. All guys cabins begin with the number 1, all girls cabins begin with the number 2. Tonight at 7 we're having a camp-wide bonfire for every camper so director Wendy and I can go over the rules and regulations of this camp that every camper must obey or will be sent home. The bonfire is mandatory, so I will see you there, Mr. Styles," he tells me, handing me a pamphlet and walking away. I open the pamphlet up and see that it's a map. I use the map to guide me to my cabin.

When I open the screen door that leads into the cabin I see a shirtless guy with a lot of tattoos and frosted hair, although the hair on his face is a dark black, wearing a pair of ripped jeans unpacking his things by the single bed on one side of the room. On the other side I see a guy who looks more like a square. He's wearing a tropical button up shirt with a pair of blue swim trunks and he's sitting on the bottom half of the bunk bed, neatly folding his clothes. His hair is slicked back and he has a bit of facial hair, brown like the hair on his head.

"So I guess I get the top bunk then," I say. The shirtless man doesn't say anything but I walk in and set my bags on the little table in the middle of the room. The boy on the bottom bunk stands up and welcomes me with a smile.

"Hey, there. I'm Liam, it's great to meet you," he gives my hand a firm shake.

"You too, I'm Harry," I tell him and smile back. I turn to the other guy who still hasn't acknowledged my existence "you must be Zayn," I say.

"Yeah.. Hey," he says, still not turning to face me.

"So, I've started putting my things in this half of the dresser, but you can have the other half," Liam tells me pointing to the dresser near our bed.

"Sounds great, thanks," I tell him and unpack my things.

***

Liam, Zayn, and I all head to the area where the bonfire is supposed to be held. Zayn is now wearing a t-shirt. I see Gemma in the crowd of people. She is standing next to two other girls; she must've gotten stuck with a three-person cabin as well. Gemma's eyes meet mine and she smiles and waves to me. I smile at her and wave back until her attention is dragged away from me by a tall, long-brown-haired, pale girl with big full lips. Gemma and I aren't like most siblings; we were never really into the fighting thing. We've always gotten along really well. She's my best friend. She has always been there to stick up for me and I do the same for her.
