I was laying in my bedroom when I saw flashing come from beyond the window. Sam! He's finally back from work. I stood up and opened my window. Looking back at the door to make sure no one was watching, I hopped outside onto the roof. I moved onto each of the roofs and made my way to where Sammy was. "Sam?" I asked when my eyes fell on a figure. "Shh." He said walking up to me. Me and Sam have been friends for awhile. We met at the orphanage and immediately hit it off. He left the orphanage to get a job so he could support his little brother. I on the other hand was moved to a shitty foster home. "It's nice to see you again Sammy." I whispered, obeying his shush. "You too, Aiden. Let's go somewhere where we can talk." He replied and grabbed my hand, leading me too a new destination. We climbed up to the top of a church. We sat under a giant bell before speaking again. "How's work been? How's Nathan?" I asked, looking down at the town. He let out a big sigh before answering. "He's good, but he's been getting in more fights." I looked at him and put my hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, we got in more trouble then him. He'll be fine." He looked me in the eyes and took in a deep breath. "Your right." He kept staring into my eyes without saying anything more. He then chuckled and looked at his lap. "What?" I asked, wondering what he was thinking. He shook his head while speaking. "I just don't understand myself." I raised my eyebrow and tilted my head to the side. "What do you mean?" He looked at the town beyond us. I followed his gaze and we sat in silence for awhile. "I know I like women, I've dated a few, but then I hang out with you and I feel weird. I just don't understand it." He spoke quietly and gently, almost like he was talking to himself. "Huh?" I was confused at his words. "Can I try something?" He asked, looking at me again. I shrugged my soldiers and replied, "Sure." He then put his hand on my cheek and leaned in close. Our lips connected, almost like magnets. I was shocked at first but then melted into his warm lips. We broke apart, needing to catch our breaths. I have always had a crush on Samuel, but I didn't think he felt the same. He was always dated girls and that was it, so I eventually gave up on my dream. "Shit, I really do like you." He said resting his forehead on mine. "Is that a bad thing?" I asked, praying it wasn't. "Not at all." He grinned and I smiled before kissing him again. We ended up staying there all night. Talking about our future and cuddling.
