LYDIAS POV

I could tell something was wrong with Kieran when I heard his breath hitch and he started to stutter. It intrigued me at what his mother was saying, and so I tried to figure it out from what he was saying. I couldn't believe we kissed. I wasn't even sure I liked him in that way. Was is bad that I still couldn't stop thinking about dean?

"B-but mum, no. You don- I've" he finished talking and pressed the end call button.

I didn't know what to say so we sat in an uncomfortable silence until Kieran eventually spoke.

"Lydia, I need to ask you something." I looked up at him and raised my eyebrows questionably.

"Do- do you like me?" He looked down at the ground.

"In what way?" I replied

"In like boyfriend-girlfriend way?"

I desperately tried to hold back my laugh but I ended up rolling off the couch and hysterically laughing for a good few minutes.

When I got myself together I looked up at Kieran and saw him smiling to himself, looking at me with his twinkling eyes.

"You're crazy, you know that right?" He asked, amused.

"What can I say, It's in my blood" I giggled.

He chuckled to himself but suddenly became very serious.

"Lydia, there's something I need to tell you."

I suddenly became very wary and listened carefully.

"Me, Dean, Sean and Kit aren't exactly like normal people. You see we're wer-" he was stopped in mid sentence by dean popping his head round the door.

"What are yous getting up to then?" He hopped onto the couch in between me and Kieran and scruffed up my hair, making me smile like an idiot.

Dean suddenly looked alarmed. "Wait Kieran, have you told her yet?"

My mind was spinning with what he meant. "Told me what?" I asked

"Dean, I haven't told her, thanks to a certain someone barging in the room." Kieran confirmed.

Dean apologised and left us alone. "Kieran, what do you need to tell me?" I curiously asked.

"It's doesn't matter just now. but that reminds me, I need to tell you something else. Please don't be mad."

"I promise I'll try not be." I smiled

"My mum has kinda arranged me to marry some girl I know."

My smile disappeared completely and a large lump appeared in my throat. The room started to spin as I quickly got up from my seat and made my way to the front door.

"Lydia?"

I swiveled round. "are you okay?"

"Yeah. congratulations!"

"You're not mad?" he seemed surprised.

"Why would I be?" I questioned.

"Because of what just happened!"

"That didn't mean anything though."

He looked confused. "so kisses don't mean anything to you? is that just because you kiss anyone and everyone?" he shouted.

I let my mouth hang open and then I started to speed walk away from him but he still managed to grab my hand. I pulled away from his grasp and before I knew what I was doing I had slapped him on his left cheek. He held his cheek which was now bright red and looked at me with surprise.

My eyes darted around and I could no longer look at him as I felt so ashamed.

I mumbled an apology and basically sprinted out the door before I could finally let out the breath that I didn't even realise I was holding. That was the last thing I remember doing before starting to try and find my way back home.
