Chapter 4: Etienne

Alina's pov

Jack and I were waiting around a corner on the streets of Paris. Our plan was to get Etienne to go to Vegas for our very first show. We were then going to rob his bank in front of the whole audience. Jack nudges me and I look in the direction he is pointing in. Etienne was coming our way. Jack and I step out from where we were hiding and start walking in his direction. " Can you believe it! I won it all in Vegas!" I said holding a wad of money in Jack's face. " Yeah. Everyone wins in Vegas." He said back as Etienne walked past. Jack put his arm around my waist as we walked past and towards the meeting point. As soon as we saw the others we walked faster. The other horsemen smiled as we came up to them. Daniel's smile fell as he saw Jack's arm around my waist. " Hey Jack, we are moving on to the next step so if you could get your hands off my girlfriend that would be great." Daniel said glaring at Jack. Jack slowly pulled his arm away and made his way over to Henley. Daniel walked over to me and placed his hand around my waist pulling me close. I looked up at him then pulled his arm off me and stood with my arms crossed. 

We were currently laying down under the 3.2 million euros in a guarded truck. I'm feeling super uncomfortable considering that I'm claustrophobic. Daniel knew that I was uncomfortable and grabbed my hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze. The truck came to a stop and the guard went to open the doors. Henley quickly drugged him and we pushed the trap doors open. I breathed in the fresh air and sighed. We worked as fast as we could to get all of the money into our truck so that we could get it back to the U.S.  " That's all of it. Let's go home." Jack said and everyone nodded in agreement. When we got back to the hotel we quickly packed our bags and headed to the airport. 

Tonight is the night of our first show. I'm super excited but I'm also super nervous. Henley and I are in the dressing room getting ready. Henley is doing my hair. While I just sit there shuffling a deck of cards in my hand. Daniel got me into the habit of doing this. " So, how are you and Daniel, Ally?" Henley asked as she twisted my hair in different directions. " We are fine I guess. He has this certain protectiveness over me now and we don't talk like we used to." I told her my smile faltering. " Awe Ally I'm sorry. I mean Daniel loves you and we can all tell. He is just new on this whole relationship thing and doesn't know how to handle it, " she said " There. I'm done. " I looked in the mirror and smiled. She put my hair in a bun with my bangs framing my face. " Thanks Henley. It looks great." She smiled at me then walked out into the hallway. I sat there for a minute staring at my reflection before following her. When I go there I saw the others and walked in their direction. " Wow, Ally you look amazing." Daniel said looking at me. I blushed and walked over to him. " Thank you, you are not so bad yourself." I said wrapping my arms around his neck. He wrapped his around my waist and gave me a sweet kiss. As we pulled away we heard the announcement of our show. "Daniel Atlas, Alina Lau, Merritt McKinney, Henley Reeves, and Jack Wilder. Arthur Tressler and the MGM Grand proudly present: The Five Horsemen." We walk out on stage and hear thunderous applause. " Thank you, Thank you. Tonight we would like to try something that will set us a bit apart." Merritt says calming the audience. " For our final trick we are going to do something never before seen on a Las Vegas stage," Henley adds.  "Or any stage for that matter," Jack says giving a smile to the audience. " Ladies and Gentlemen! Tonight" I shout to the crowd waiting for Daniel to finish. " We, are going to rob a bank!" He yells. The crowd goes crazy. Merritt and Jack run and give each other a jumping high five.  I laughed." That's a lot of excitement for a crime." Daniel added. He looked in my direction and winked.  " I'm getting excited. What about you people?" Henley yelled.  I go and stand next to Daniel. " So who here  has a bank they want us t rob?" Daniel asks the audience. Almost everyone in the room raises their hands. " Wow, that's a lot of people with a vendetta." I said looking at the audience.  " We'll just have to pick at random then." Daniel says. Yeah if already knowing exactly what bank we are picking then yeah defiantly random. " Jack over there has the section letters. Jack toss me one please." Jack threw a ping pong ball at Daniel and he caught it. " Section B!" Daniel yells
