the uswnt had a training camp in Florida so everybody had packed and was headed to Florida. Tobin hoped to get to know Alex more during this camp. Their coach had also wanted the team to get to know Tobin better.
When getting on the team bus Tobin decided to sit by Alex.
"hey is it cool if I sit here?" Tobin said with smile.
"sure" Alex said reading her phone.
"whatcha doin?" Tobin asked lookin over at her phone.
"texting servando" Alex said rolling her eyes.
"is Servando your boyfriend?" Tobin said with a sad look.
"yea but he's been a asshole lately" Alex said with a frown.
Tobin and Alex talked all the way till they got to their hotel in Orlando.
They got a lot closer than they were before they sat next to each other on the bus.
when they got to the hotel they all met in the lobby to get their room assignments.
"I'm about to tell y'all the room assignments" coach said reading a sheet of paper.
"Sydney and Megan"
"Hope and Kelley"
"Morgan and Meghan"
"Christen and Julie"
"Alex and Tobin"
and the rest of the players.
"I guess we are rooming together" Alex said with a smile.
"I guess we are" Tobin responded.
when they got to their room there was only 1 bed. Tobin didn't mind sharing the bed with Alex.
"I don't mind sharing the bed" Tobin said looking at Alex.
"Well it looks like we are going to have to" Alex said with a oh well voice.
"Well I'm gonna take a shower" Alex said walking into the bathroom.
"okay" Tobin said laying on the bed watching tv.
Tobin was actually happy to share a bed with Alex bc she was starting to like her. Tobin knew the only thing between her and Alex being together was Alex's boyfriend.
while Tobin was thinking about Alex Alex's phone buzzed. It was Servando.
Servando: hey babe your hotel is down the street from my house I'm gonna stop by.
Servando lives in Florida because he plays for Orlando City. Alex and him used to both live in Portland until he started playing for Orlando. They were doing long distance in their relationship.
Tobin just rolled her eyes at his text message because she already didn't like him.
"Hey Alex your boyfriend just texted you do you want me to bring you your phone?" Tobin said talking through the door.
"Uh sure" Alex said unlocking the door.
when Alex opened the door Tobin looked to see Alex getting dressed and just stared at her abs like she did at practice.
"Tobin stop staring at me" Alex said waiting for Tobin to hand her the phone.
"oh sorry here you go" Tobin said blushing and handing Alex her phone.
when Alex came out of the bathroom Alex asked Tobin something.
"Hey Tobin why were you staring at me?" Alex asked looking down at her phone.
"Uh i don't know I'm sorry" Tobin said blushing.
"No it's okay I like the attention" Alex said smirking.
Alex was starting to think Tobin actually liked her more than a friend but she wasn't sure. Alex was starting to like her as a best friend.
just as Alex was thinking she heard a knock at the door.
