First week of school has passed. It was quite fun. I've met many new people. My classmates seem nice, which is a relief since I didn't get along with my classmates in middle school. I was always a bit of an outcast but it seemes like I'm going to get accepted in this, so called, "community". There were more girls than boys in our class. Most of them were wearing fashionable, expensive clothes which I personally found a bit unappealing. Their faces were painted with make up to the point where they all looked like dolls. All though it is very popular in today's society to have your face all caked on with products, I was never a fan of make up. My mum would always tell me it's bad for your skin and I never really felt the need to change my face in this way, despite the fact that I never particularly liked the way I look. I understand it's sort of like a hobby now too. I don't hate the concept of it, I just think it's unnecessary. You're all beautiful.
Four of us girls; Enyo, Luna ,Caroline and me, formed a small group. Neither of us had the following like appearance so we didn't exactly fit in with the others. It didn't bother us. The male part of the class seemed nice too. Boys too were divided in some sort of groups. Few of them held for themselves, while some were enjoying the company of girls. There was one that girls especially liked. He was tall, with an athletic body. His blonde locks were slightly covering his bright blue eyes. I must admit he's got some good genes. There was one boy who mostly wore band Tees, he was very interesting too.
Putting the guys aside the school itself was pretty cool too. The teachers were mostly nice, few of them a little peculiar. For example our chemistry teacher said she burns the mice that gets caught in traps while they're still alive. A bit disturbing information if you ask me. The only bad thing about our school's appearance was that it has too many stairs. Having to walk 2 floors up in 3 minutes is no fun at all. And the school cafeteria was always very crowded. But something interesting did happen there. It was my second day there when I spotted him. Sitting a few feet away from me. It took my breath away. The way he walked, the way he smiled, even the way he smelled. How stupid. He looked confused and slightly frightened, just as all the freshmen were. Sitting with his friends, teasing eachother and talking, he didn't pay much attention to anything else. He looked so adorable and he reminded me of a band member and I just had to quickly text my best friend Alyssa about him. She gets me.
Little did I know then how much this brown eyed boy would change my life.
