Phil p.o.v.

I run to my room , tears running down my cheeks. I just told Dan I loved him....What will he think?
"Ph...Phil!!"
"I'm sorry Dan!! I've ruined everything. I'm so sorry."
"Phil everything is going to be ok!"
All I can hear is Dan's voice as I drift off to sleep.

I wake up and look at the clock. I was asleep for 1 hour. I hope Dan's ok. I've just ruined our friend ship. If I wouldn't have told him I love him, everything would be fine!! God , I'm such an idiot!! I walk out of my room
and I see Dan , sitting by my door.
"Phil!!!"
"How long were you sitting there Dan?"
"Well, I haven't moved since you went in your room. So I guess about an hour." Dan waited for me for an hour. Maybe he loves me. No, of course not. He just has nothing else to do and he was just making sure I'm ok.
"Dan, I'm sorry."
"Phil, you did nothing wrong. It's ok. " Then he reaches for my hand, and pulls me closer to him and we hug. I never want to let go if his warm embrace but im pulled away from my thoughts when he whispers in my ear
"I love you to Phil"
"What" I hope he really means that. I love him so much and I want him to love me.
"I...I love you Phil..."
"But you don't love me the same way I love you. Best friends say they love each other all the time. But Dan, I love you more. I love you so much, I think about you all the time."
"Phil, I love you . I'm in love with you."
Is this it? Does Dan really love me? Then , slowly, Dan gets closer to my face and we kiss. I'm surprised and instantly kiss him back.
Then I pull away from him, thinking that he doesn't love me.
"Phil, I love you. When we were at Starbucks... I never wanted to let go of your hand. I wanted to hold it forever, because when I'm with you, I get butterflies in my stomach."
"Dan, I love you. I'm nothing Dan . I'm just a person. I'm just me."
"Don't you ever say that. I love you beacuse you are you."
