Chapter 5

Sorry i haven't been on updating lately. i was having computer trouble and being absolutely busy. Anyway, i hope you all enjoy it, because it's pretty long.

Chapter 5-More surprises

Shadow's point of view: I can't believe everything i did. I hurt the person i love. Not only that, she's having a baby. All eyes then landed on me, full of rage and disappointment. "I can't believe you, shadow". said rouge. "Yeah, what gives you the right to kiss my girl"? asked knuckles holding rouge's hand. It was then silent. "What is wrong with you"? asked sonic. "Who messed up this time"? "Do you only care about yourself"? asked tails. I then looked away. "Ok everybody, enough". spoke out tina. Everyone looked surprised at her (including me). "Tina, shadow hurt your sister's heart". said silver. "Are you taking up for him instead of me"? asked tails. Tina then smacked tails in the back of the head. "This isn't about you, tails". The room grew silent. Tina then glared at everyone. "Look, shadow made a mistake". "That's normal". "Your saying that none of you made a single mistake in your life"? Everyone remained silent. "yes, i am upset for what he did to my sister, but he only did it because he was upset". "We have to learn to forgive and forget".  "Besides, Shadow is our friend and we stand by friends, no matter what". Tina then ran out the door, without looking back. Tails then glared at me. "Way to go, shadow". I then looked at him confused and angry. Normal point of view: I kept running and never looked back. I was in so much pain. I then spotted the fountain in the forest and sat down to rest. (remember this place)? "Part of me is telling me to stay away from shadow". I said to myself. "But...". I started and picked up a crimson rose from beside the fountain. "Part of me is telling me to go back and give him another chance". I finished. "After all, it can't get any worse then him getting me pregnant". I said in my head. "Sophie, there you are". I looked to my right to see a tired out, tina. "how did you find me"? i asked. She then gave me a look. "you always come here when you are upset". I was then silent. "I was just thinking". "about shadow"? asked tina. "About everything". "like"? "like how am i gonna take care of a child"? I asked looking at my stomach. Tina then shrugged her shoulders. "Don't ask me, your the one with the baby". I then rolled my eyes. "thanks". I then stood up and looked the other way. "hey, it's not my fault you decided to....". "DON'T SAY IT"! I yelled turning back around. Tina then stepped back. I then hung my head low. "I'm sorry". "I'm just so stressed out". "yeah, that's the reason". mumbled tina. I then glared at her "Why you....."!  I yelled as i grabbed her arm. Tina then looked frightened. I then heard my name in the distance "Sophie"! I then let her go. I saw shadow in the distance, with sonic, silver and tails. "Oh no, it's shadow". I said as i began to run. I ran and ran and heard my name being called . I kept running until i bumped into someone. (can you guess)? Shadow then looked down at me and i started backing up. "Sophie, please talk to me". "NO"! I yelled and turned the other way until sonic and silver blocked my way. The three of them circled me as my back hit a tree. "sophie, give him a chance". said silver. "Why"? I asked as i closed my eyes and felt tears forming. "because it's important". I then opened my eyes as tears fell. I saw shadow get on his knees and held my hands tightly. "I am an idiot and stupid and just plain dumb". "but please take me back, i didn't mean to hurt you". I then glared at him. "What do you mean by, you didn't mean to"? I asked hastily. "You kissed rouge and told me you were over me"! "You were mean to amy and you didn't believe me, again"! "most importantly, you called me a traitor and i won't accept that kind of criticism from anyone, not even you". Shadow then looked up at me. "shadow, i'm done with you". "You went too far this time and you will be punished for it". I then jerked my hands out of his and walked away, leaving the three shocked and hurt. ~  I walked slowly back to Sonic's feeling weak and depressed. I then saw amy come out of the house. "Sophie, there you are". "I was worried". "Sophie"? she asked as i fell to my knees and held my chest. "SOPHIE"! yelled amy as she ran to my side and helped me up. Knuckles and vector came running out. "Help me guys"! she yelled. They picked me up and chaos controlled away from the house.    Sonic's point of view: The three of us walked back slowly . Me and silver were up front, while shadow dragged behind. ( I swear, i thought he was crying). We then saw tina and tails waiting for us at the fountain. "So how did it go"? asked tails. We then looked back at shadow, who was silent and never once lifted up his head. "Not too good". said silver. Tina then stood up. "she'll come around, you'll see". We then walked slowly back to my house and saw espio, charmy, Sonia, and manic run out the door with shocked expressions on their faces. "You guys look like your in a hurry". I said in a humor way. "We don't have time for jokes right now, sonic". snapped Sonia. "Yeah, we have to get to the hospital, pronto"! yelled manic. "Why, what's going on"? asked silver. Blaze then came running out the door with cream and cheese by her side. "guys, let's go"! yelled blaze. "We have to get to sophie before it's too late". The five of us lifted up our heads straight up and shocked. "WHAT"! we all yelled. "c'mon"! yelled blaze as we all chaos controlled in a flash.       ~  We arrived at the hospital and rushed through the double doors. We saw everyone sitting in the lobby. "What took you guys"? asked knuckles. Me and silver looked at shadow. "We were just, dragging behind". said silver. We then saw a pink and white cat, wearing a nurse outfit, come into the lobby "friends of sophia brook"? she asked. We all stood up and went to her. "How is she"? asked blaze. "She is struggling, but i think she will be fine". "Were gonna keep her over night just to be sure". Everyone sighed in relieve. "Can we go see her"? asked rouge. "I'm sorry, but only three people can be back there at a time". We all then looked at each other. "She's my sister, I'll go see her". said tina. "I'm the one who helps her a lot and she comes to me for help, so i'll go back there too". spoke out amy. "i'll go back there as well". volunteered shadow. We all gave him a worried/scared look. "Your the reason she's in so much pain". said knuckles. "I know what i did was wrong, but i need to make things right, now or never again". Everyone then looked at each other and after a while, we all agreed. "aright, follow me". said the nurse as shadow, tina, and amy trailed behind. "good luck shadow, good luck". i said to myself.  Normal point of view: I layed down on the bed, feeling absolutely awful and feeling tears go down my face. "Why am i so upset"? I asked myself. I then heard a knock on my door. A pink and white cat nurse came in, with a warm smile. "sophie, you have visitors". "ok". i said weakly. Tina came in followed by Amy. "Tina, amy, your here". i said full of joy. "I'm so glad to.....". I then saw shadow come in "see you". i finished off. "i'll leave you four alone". said the nurse as she left, closing the door behind her. I started backing up as they came closer. "What's he doing here"? i asked coldly. "He just wants to talk to you". answered amy. "Well, i don't". "We already covered it in the forest and.....". I then started choking on my tears and put my face in my hands. "Sophie, calm down before you have another heart attack". answered amy. "How can i, when i can't even sleep at night without worrying about how people are gonna treat me and if i'm safe or not"? I rushed my words and started shaking uncontrollably. I started feeling my heart ache again. I was then having trouble breathing and i was having a panic attack. "AHHH"! They all three yelled. "Shadow, do something!?!? yelled tina. I started feeling power increase in me. Then all of a sudden, water blasted Out of the sink and pipe water circled around me and my eyes turned aqua blue. Amy and tina tried to shake me out of it, but i immediately hit them, straight in their stomachs, with water blast. Then all of a sudden, Shadow charged straight for me and went through the water force field. He jumped on me and held my arms down. He was holding his breath. (since he was in water). He then kissed me. The water started dimming down, but not all the way. Shadow then pulled out a chaos emerald. "Chaos Control"! he muttered in the water. The rest of the water started to shine, then it evaporated and some fell to the ground, soaking us. I then calmed down and my eyes turned back to green. "I'm sorry..... I couldn't control....". Then Shadow pulled me into a hug. "what's wrong with me"? i asked. "nothing". he replied. "I'm sorry that i filled you up with rage; that tears me up inside". "But i want you to know that even if you don't love me anymore, i still love you". Shadow then let go of me and helped amy and tina up. "Shadow....". I started as he turned around to face me. "I still have feelings for you too, and i'm willing to give you another chance". (i hope i don't regret it). Shadow then ran over to me and squeezed me tight. "I was afraid i lost you forever". he answered after a moment of silent. I then smiled at him. "I always come back around". "Guess i'm too nice". Shadow then smirked at my remark. "told you". pointed out tina. The nurse then came running  in. "WHAT HAPPENED!?!? she yelled. Everyone then looked at me. I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know". I answered. The nurse then glared at me. "well, it seems that your fine, so you can go home". I then gave her a look. "but you said.....". "Now i'm saying something else, now go"! she yelled. We all wore a surprised look on our faces "ok then". i replied. We walked out of the water- filled room and heard the nurse mumble something under her breath as she slammed the door. "I thought nurses were suppose to be nice"? I asked Everyone then looked a head of them, where i couldn't see. "hello"? i asked. I then got up front to them to see water splashed everywhere and people soaked. We then saw sonic and the others looked at us with surprised looks. "where did that flood come from"? asked silver. "Oh, i think we have a pretty good idea where". said shadow, smirking at me. I then blushed.
