Lucy watched as the door closed behind the leaving woman, her heart almost beating through her rib cage as wiggled her body towards the left. With a lot of will power, she managed to heave herself up to place her feet on the cold floor without ripping one of the stitches on her torso, that was currently stinging to hell and back.

''Okay.'' Lucy muttered, squeezing her eyes shut while taking a few deep breaths. ''You can do this.''

She opened her eyes and pulled her arms towards her hips before pushing herself up very slowly, almost as slow as snail. Her eyes squeezed shut and, despite the waves of pain that washed over her, she continued to pull herself up until she was standing shakily on her two feet.

''Like a child's play.'' She said, taking a deep breath with a small smile.

Lucy had to get out. She knew there was something wrong with this place. Not that she wasn't grateful of their kindness, but because the place oozed bad vibes. As if the people she were talking to held back something from her, something that definitely was about her.

''A coma for 30 years? Don't think so.'' Lucy almost snorted to herself as she though those words.

She, almost too trusting in her body, took a step forward, and that had been the worst mistake she had made that day. Her foot gave out under her as soon as it touched the cold floor and she went falling straight forward, her arms flailing to catch something to hold on to. Her right arm slammed into a table, halting her body from slamming into the floor, but her right arm had also, too Lucy's horror, touched a lamp that was placed on said table. The lamp in turn had been swiped off the table by her arm and was now falling to the floor with a loud clatter. The light bulb in said lamp broke into thousands of pieces, whilst the base and the frame of the lamp managed to stay intact.

Lucy, as soon as she heard the crash, had held her breath and was now slowly letting it out as she didn't hear people storm into the house, screaming and scolding her for ruining their lamp and possibly ripping her stitches. Lucy, with her now jelly like body, heaved herself up again, this time a little faster since she didn't want to waste time in them finding out that she was trying to walk around, because if they did, they would either put her in bed and watch her for hours to no end, or lock the door to prevent her from disappearing in the crowds of people walking outside to never be found again.

''Breath.'' She told herself as she clutched her right side with her free arm. '' Breath, god dammit!''

Breathing had slowly become an problem as the injuries were eating her alive. She knew that she shouldn't be walking around, especially not in the condition she were in, but she didn't care at the moment. All she cared about were that these people were hiding something and she were not going to stick around to find out.

She inhaled and exhaled before stumbling over to the door, her ears listening for any sound of incoming visitors. As her hand touched the handle, the girl looked down at it before withdrawing her hand to unwrap it in a few seconds. The bandage fell to the floor and Lucy wrinkled her nose in displeasure as she looked at guild mark that was slowly beginning to become whole as her injury was healing.

Snapping her attention away from the hand, she froze as she heard a door open and close. She reacted quickly and hid behind the door hinges, her eyes moving to her right as she looked for a something heavy. When her eyes landed on the book that was placed on the cabinet next to her, the footsteps were outside the door. The door slowly opened up and a figure stepped inside and, without even looking who it was, Lucy snatched the book and slammed it into the back of the person's head, the person letting out a loud ump before it fell to the floor.

''Sorry.'' Lucy apologized with a small smile as she stared down at the man that was now looking as if he was asleep. ''Please don't hate me.'' She whined before bolting out of the room, not stopping until she was outside the house.
