( Harry's POV.)

As I watch Amanda run out the door, I knew I had just blown it. I stormed over to Lacey with furry in my eyes.

"Why are you here!" I shouted at her. The girl standing in front of me was definitely not the Lacey I had met a year ago. She snaked around me and and came back around, her face closer to me than I expected.

"I came to see you," she responded, licking her lips and leaning in closer. I pushed her away from me disgusted.

"Well I don't want to see you. So you can leave," I said, shoving her out my doorway and slamming the door in her face. I ran out my back door and hopped the fence in the back. I landed hard on my feet and I struggled to stand up. As soon as I lifted my head, I turned white as a ghost. The Rottweiler standing on the deck growled viciously baring its sharpened fangs.

"Nice doggy. It's okay. I'm not going to hurt you," I tried to calm him, but he started barking. I knew that I was a goner. I looked to the side of the house and saw an exit. Unfortunately, it want very big. I had to make a run for it right then, so I did. I bolted toward the small hole in the fence and jumped through it right before the wild dog got a hold of me. I laid on my back in the grass of the person's front law thinking "Thank god I made it. Thank god I made it."

I gathered my thoughts together and stood up, recognizing where I was. My eyes instantly hit Niall's house and I knew that's where I was headed. I ran across the street and quickly ran up the steps to Niall's flat. I knocked on the door constantly until someone opened the door. The house was quiet and dark, but Niall was still there to open the door for me. I ran into the room, my thoughts swimming in my head. Niall looked at me with a confused expression.

"Hey, Harry? Is every thing okay?" He asked.

"No! No, nothing is okay!" I barked at him. I had mixed emotions about everything.

"Whoa, slow down. You need to calm down. Sit on the couch and let's talk about this," he said. I dragged myself over to the couch and slummed down. I cupped my face in my hands and just started crying. I herd Niall whisper soft comforting words to me, but I knew that nothing could be more comforting than to have Amanda in my arms.

"It'll be okay Harry. Just tell me what's wrong?" He questioned. I lifted my head up from my palms.

"You don't get it Niall. She's gone," I cried.

"Who?" He asked. I sniffled.

"You remember Lacey, right?" He nodded. "Well, me and Amanda sort of made things up. Then we went down stairs to watch a movie and Lacey came. Amanda answered the door and I guess she thought that I was still with Lacey, or something. The point is, I lost the love of me life. The one I hold closest to me. How will I ever love anyone the way I loved Amanda?" I questioned. My lips quivered. I felt Niall put his hand on my shoulder.

"It'll be okay. I promise," he said.

"But what if it's not?"

(Sydney's POV.)

I stood there, looking at all of Niall's cloths, trying to decide what to wear. I searched each rack, trying to spot the perfect outfit. My eyes caught a flashy little item of clothing. I smiled and picked up the ti-die sweat pants and put them on. I then grabbed one of his tank tops and slipped that on too. I herd a door from downstairs open, then slam behind them. This intrigued me. What was wrong? I quietly crept down the flight of stairs as slow as possible. I herd voices in the living room and could almost put a name to the other voice, but not quite. As soon as I hit the last stair I saw the back of the guy's head. The wet bunch of curls I recognized instantly. Harry. I knew if I went down and he saw me, I wouldn't be able to find anything about what happened to Amanda and how he had saved her from Jake. I put a hand to the wall and listen carefully to the conversation.
