I start down the house hall, my long sleeves covering my hands as if I was hiding them, making sure no one saw the giant x on my wrist. I hear my name being called to the right of me and I turn to see who is calling me "Hey Rylee come over here" when I look I sent the small but not thin Chris, waving me over to her table. "are you going to come with me Jason, Jack, Dustin, Malachi, Ethan, and Mandi to the park?" I nod and smile "uhh yeah sure, but I'm staying with you!" Chris giggles at my statement and gets her coat "well come on,, let's scoot" all eight of us March our way to the park, making complete fouls of our selves when Chris tells me she got a tattoo and her mom nor dad knows about. "yeah I got it a while back, didn't hurt that much. but how bad ass is that?" I smile trying to cover my concern "super bad ass"

we finally get to the small dimly light park surrounded by woods and street. "come on guys" they head there way down the forest path "Don't worry Rylee we come down her all the time" Chris says smiling confidently "well I wasn't, really, worrying" she laughs a little as we all walk clumsily down the path. Jason is standing on the right side of Chris as I stand on her left, trying to insert myself into the conversation.

soon Chris gets spooked so we make our way back in a single file line Jason ended up in front of me, I keep tripping over roots and I can feel my face heat up with embarrassment. thank God it was night a d he couldn't see. he turns to face me holding out his hand "here hold my hand" he smiles warmly "o-okay" I slowly slide my cold hand it I his warm one as he guided me through the path, Chris and her boyfriend Jack not to far back.

as we get to the light entrance Jason slowly pulls his hand from mine, I felt even more embarrassed because k followed his hand as if to take it back, but then I retreated my hand back to my side. stupid me. I should have just confidently grabbed his hand back, even if he would have looks at me weird.

we sit back at the park and they start playing Truth or Dare. "Chris Truth or Dare" asks tanned as he smirks "dare" she says flat put "go kiss Jason!" he burst out laughing and she looks at Jack "Jack Wilson you be o with it" he nods "I guess" fate his approval she jumps up and walks to Jason smashing he lips to his then walking back to sit next to me and Jack. I try not to stare, or think about it but I'm not lying. I had that stake in the heart feeling an it kilts in my chest. making me feet sick to my stomach. why must I be so childish. I just want to go home.

we all see a at driving up, Dustin and Mandi. "let's scare them!" everyone starts sneaking to the car and jump out yelling, and laughing. soon we are all in th street again and a lot of confusing things happen, it happened so fast I didn't have time to think. me Charlie and Jack were in jacks truck as the rest are in the bed of the truck having a blast. I just sigh and watch out the window. most of what we did I wasn't having much fun, I have no clue what the new Chris is... I haven't seen MY Chris her all night. I guess she is gone.
