"What the hell do you mean 'I'm the one to save you all?'"

The Nether king looked at me like I should already know. "You are Herobrine, correct?" I nodded slowly. "Then you are the one to save us all."

"From what? What am I suppose to save you from?"

The king hesitated. "From the one who banished you here."

I stared at the skeleton. "You want me.....to save you from Notch? The freaken creator of Minecraft?"

He looked at me like I had just grown a tail. "What are you talking about? The prophecy said nothing about Notch banishing you here....unless...." He looked away for a moment. "Are you sure Notch was the one who put you here?"

I nodded. "Yah, why? What does your so called 'prophecy' say?"

He looked back at me. "The prophecy states that the false protector of balance will kill us all, and rule over Minecraft, if not stopped by the one banished to the Nether with nothing left."

I stared at the floor. "False protector of balance?" I repeated quietly. "You mean...Entity 303?" The king nodded and gave me a look of hope. "How am I suppose to help you? I'm powerless against him and Notch."

The king looked sadly down at me. "Honestly, I don't know. The only ones who could help you think you're..."

"They think I'm a trator and a murderous person." I finished his thought for him. "So I guess I'm on my own for this one."

"Not completely..." The king said. He stood and walked to me. "Brine, you have me and my whole kingdom by your side. You are the one to save us. We need you."

I thought a moment. "Even if I could help you, why would I? I was just forced to kill everyone I swore to protect, then I was banished here, and now you're asking me for help because some prophecy says that I'm gonna do it. What in your right mind makes you think that I'm going to just walk into your Nether fortress and help some mobs who want the two people I can't kill dead?"

The king said nothing for a while. "Because Brine, if you don't help us, all of Minecraft, you, me, the kingdom, even your brother, will all die. If you don't help us, then Entity 303 will rule minecraft."

I hesitated. Everyone will die if I don't do this, but how many lives will be lost if I do? I looked at the king and saw a glimpse of hope. I felt rage grow in my chest at the thought of Entity ruling. "I don't care if all of Minecraft burns at my feet, Entity will die, and I'll kill him myself if necessary." I replyed.

The king looked releaved. "Thank you Brine, the kingd-"

"I'm not doing this for you or your stupid prophecy," I spat at him. He recoiled slighly at the harshness of my voice. "I'm doing this so I can finally end all this torment that he's put me through."

The king looked at me with sorrow for a moment, then nodded. "I understand, but still, you have my thanks for helping me and my kingdom from distructon." He bowed and I stayed where I was. "Allow me to welcome you to the kingdom."

"Thanks, but no thanks. I'm going to go."

"Where? You have no place to sleep."

I started walking out the doors and turned around. "I'll find a place, I've lived in worse." I walked out of the castle and away from the grounds. I walked on until I reached the bridge I had flown up on. I jumped down and continued to where I was when I first arrived. I slid my hand across the wall as I walked. Finding a shaded spot between the bridge and the wall, I sat down. I stared at the lava, and realized something. Entity hasn't spoken to me at all.... does he not have enough power to torture me? I smerked and leaned on the wall. Finally, a place where he can't reach me.

Eventually, I fell asleep, my mind racing with thoughts and questions I may never find the answer to, but that didn't matter, I was about to get revenge on Notch for putting me in this place without second thought. Revenge on Steve for turning on me. And revenge on Entity, for starting this whole mess in the first place. They would all pay, they would all suffer. And I was gonna be the one to do it.

I was awoken by one of the blazes shooting fire balls at me. "What do you want?" I grumbled as I sat up and faced the blaze.

"Sir, may I ask why you are sleeping so far away from the kingdom?"

"I wanted to be on my own. Is that so hard to ask?" I snapped at the blaze. He floated back a bit. I sighed, "Look, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap. I just, I have alot on my mind right now."

He looked at me and floated closer. "Are you ok?"

I nodded. "Yah, I'm fine. Just, tired I guess."

The blaze said nothing for a moment. "I'm David."

"Herobrine." I mumbled, still not completely satisfied with the name that I'm now known by.

The blaze looked at me with surprise and joy. "You're Herobrine, the one the prophecy speaks of?"

I nodded. "Aparentlly." I replyed staring into the lava.

The blaze gave me a look of consern. "Are you sure you're alright?"

"As alright as I can possibly get." I said with a slight frown.

"Anything I can do to help?" I shook my head. "Oh, ok. Well, if you need anything let me know." He floated away and left me to my thoughts.

I have to save this whole dimension? If Entity has all of Minecraft, why would he need the Nether? More questions raced through my head as I continued to stare at the lava. How can I save them? How can I protect them, if I couldn't protect the townsfolk? I shook my head. Slowly a headache had formed and was growing worse by the moment. I put my head in my hands and stared at the Netherack below me. I have to try, I couldn't save the town, but that isn't gonna stop me from trying to save this kingdom. They need my help, and I'm gonna do my best to save them. Or I'm gonna die trying.
