Social workers are talking to my mom right now, they need to decide if I did this because of her or the unhappiness of a 'broken home'.
They came earlier to talk to me, it was an old rude lady and a young man who only took notes.
The lady asked me about my background and if my parents got along, I told her my mother was a great one and I couldn't ask for a better one.
In the end I told her it was because of Rose. Her face held sympathy, but her eyes looked bored.
When the duo showed up they said they only wanted me in the room, after much persuasiveness Alastair finally left to get food and my mom was ushered to a room to be interviewed later.
Knock knock
The person doesn't wait to be welcomed in and stumbles in the room with four bags from several fast food restaurants.
"I'm back Mads, I got you some uh Chickfila, McDonalds, Chipotle, and Taco Bell."
I'm absolutely starving! I've only had ice chips and jello for the last few hours since I've woken up.
"Thank you baby, I'm really hungry. What did you get yourself?"
I know what he got himself, Taco Bell, three supreme tacos and a quesadilla.
He gives me a look, the same look he always gives me when I'm being sarcastic or witty, it makes me feel a bit more alive.
"You know what I got, the question is, what did I get you?"
"You got me absolutely all of my favorites from my favorite places, another reason to add to the list of why I love you."
