Jeffrey stared out the window admiring his surroundings.

The window showed his reflection.

The small drips of rain hit the window.

In the distance.

He could see a figure.

The figure of Jasmine Collins his "friend".

He quickly got up and ran downstairs as he opened the door for Jasmine.

She walked in with a fluffy smile pasted on her face.

"Hi Jasmine."

Jeffrey spoke innocently.

"Hi Jeffrey."

Jasmine spoke with a bit of annoyance in her voice.

"Come in and have a seat I'll be back with two cups of tea."

Jeffrey said with a gentle and sweet smile made by his pink plump lips.

He walked into the softly lit kitchen and grabbed tea cups.

Surely he made the tea.

He grabbed the tea cups now filled with tea.

And slowly making sure he didn't slip any.

He slowly spun around.

Jasmine was right behind Jeffrey.

"Jasmine you scared me."

Jeffrey said in between giggles.

"My bad."

Jasmine apologized as she held a silver, pointed, sharp object in her hand.

"J-Jasmine?"

Jeffrey asked as she brought the object up to Jeffrey's abdomen.

The object known as a knife impaled Jeffrey.

He let go of the tea cups.

They crushed onto the floor in slow motion.

Everything.

Went.

In.

Slow.

Motion.

Jeffrey placed his small hands around the knife that was still impaled in his abdomen.

He let out a few sobs.

Clear liquid spilled from Jeffrey's emerald eyes.

Jasmine let out small laughs.

"B-Before you finish me...."

Jeffrey paused and Jasmine tilted her head.

"I love y-you..."

Jeffrey choked on tears.

Crimson liquid dripped from Jeffrey's wound onto the floor.

Drip.

After drip.

They fell.

"Wait you what!?"

Jasmine yelled as Jeffrey repeated the simple phrase that meant a lot to any and every human being.

"I love you."

Jeffrey whispered.

"J-Jeffrey! Don't go please!! I didn't know you felt like this!!"

Jasmine begged.

Regret.

A wave of regret crashed onto her shores.

"Bye."

Jeffrey said.

Jeffrey's emerald eyes became droopy.

He took his last and final breath.

A deep breath.

And.

Jeffrey slept forever.

In a land of enchantment.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry it ended this way."

Jasmine apologized and removed the knife.

"Bye Jeffrey."

Jasmine said and walked away with the knife in her hand running into the woods.

The harsh rain became softer as Jasmine went deeper in the forest.

"Jeffrey, I'm sorry please forgive me!"

Jasmine screamed into the breeze passing by.

Tears spilled from her eyes.

Salty like the way she use to feel about the world.

Warm like her new heart.

New heart that opened up to everyone and everything.

The rain cleared up.

Jasmine looked up and smiled as new tears came rolling down her cheeks.

The image of Jeffrey's face appeared in the clear blue sky.

With a few fluffy white clouds.

Jeffrey smiling down at Jasmine.

"Thank you Jasmine. I really wanted to see my older sister again. You granted me my wish thank you truly. I love you."

Jeffrey smiled as he said so.

Another face appeared next to Jeffrey's face.

Black hair, emerald eyes, pale skin, and a lot of Jeffrey's facial features.

"Thank you for granting him his long term wish. I'm Emily. His older sister."

Emily, known as Jeffrey's older sister, thanked Jasmine as their faces disappeared within the soft yet cold breeze.

"Your welcome."

Jasmine said as a new smile appeared on her face.

"With every end, comes a new being."

A whisper was heard as she dig the knife in the soft complexed dirt.

She smiled and leaned on the tree next to her.

The rain began once more.

A horrified scream came from Jeffrey's house.

His mother screamed as the scene of her lifeless son.

Laid on tile floor.

A mother getting both of her children taken away.

"My babies get taken away from me. Both of them! Why."

Jeffrey's and Emily's mother cried and her husband hugged her.

"Listen both of them now are resting in a land together."

Their father added on and on cheering his wife up.
