I've Got A Secret

Chapter 8

Emily sighed in relief when they finally made it the their dorm. Steve looked at Emily weirdly as she started dancing around the room.

"Sugar blood and killing rainbows! Candy apples and... Uh... I don't know!" Emily yelled as she went back to dancing.

She went to do a twirl when she hit the wall with a 'oof '. She got back up and started dancing again.

Steve did everything he could to keep from laughing, until he couldn't do it anymore. He started laughing uncontrollably as Emily pranced around the room twirling her hands singing, "Lalala"

"Steve!" She ran over to his side. He had fallen over from laughing so much.

"I'm ok it's just... What were you singing!?" Steve said once he recollected him self.

"Lala...la...lala?" She was slightly confused.

"Ok. Um... You wanna have some fun?" Steve asked as he got up.

"Uh, sure, but what are we goin' to do?"

"You'll see..." Steve headed for the door and motioned Emily to follow. Hesitantly, she followed him.

He walked further down the hallway of dorms. Their dorm was only number 15 and there was about 100 dorms so it took a while.

When they were finally at the end, he stopped at the wall.

"Ok... How was a long walk fun?" Emily was still confused.

"Shhh." Steve put a finger to her lips "Stay quiet... Can you turn invisible?"

"Uh yes, why?" She said once he put her finger down.

"Do it and follow me..." Emily did what he said.

She hadn't made anymore friends yet, so she just thought this was normal for a human. Or maybe Steve is just crazy. She couldn't figure it out yet.

"Remember, stay close to me and don't make noise." Steve ordered her.

He opened the door as a light blinded her. It was so strong she winced and put a hand to her head to block the light out.

Once her vision adjusted, she gasped at what she saw.

"What is this place!?" Emily asked.

"This place is...."

And the chapter ends here!
