Chapter 1:)
I lay motionless as the sound of my alarm clock wakes my peaceful slumber. I roll over throwing my leg over my bed. Knowing I only have thirty minutes to get ready I got up and slowly make my way to the bathroom. I threw my hair back in a messy bun like always and scavenged for my favorite boot-cut blue jeans. I soon found my last few minutes were up and I found my self running through out the house. I grabbed a pop tart from the old wood stained cabinet and ran out the door holding my old broke in pointed boots in one hand and my pop tart in the other. Walking up the steps of this old yellow bus I hear all the kids screaming and yelling then I suddenly regret the moment I ever woke up. I quickly find a seat and stare out the window till I reach the high school. I hall off the bus and through the front doors. The familiar sign that hangs on the wall saying "Welcome to High School" is, again, covered in chewed gum and chew.
" Taylor!"
A scream of my name from across the hall grabs my attention. I find out fairly quickly that is was Brian. My best-friend I've known since I was 9.
"Did you get your math done?" He asked as if he was in a hurry.
"Yeah, why, wait let me guess, you dident finish it." I knew then that
I was correct because of the awful look he shot me.
"I was riding the horses and lost track of time, so no I dident get it done. May I barrow yours?." He gave me the smile that makes every girl drop. He was completely gorgeous but the smile never worked on me since we are pretty good friends.
"I guess." I replied with a smile.
He took my homework and walked to biology, where I would soon have to be. We had the same first period but he never stuck around with me.
I walked to my locker and repeated the same combination and actions as I do everyday. My locker was an awful mess but I couldn't help it when I barley use it. I grab my twenty pound biology book and fifteen pound work book we always had to take with us. I slammed my locker and started walking to class. I felt alone walking through the crowed halls, everyone seemed to have a friend or a boyfriend right next to them, but I was all alone. I only had two people who are my real friends, which are Brian hays and Emily Cramer. I've known Brian since grade school and we always hung out as kids, Emily, I meat during my freshman year when we ran into each other in the hall, We have been good friends since.
I arrived to class and walked to my desk, third row, last seat. I'm always in the back of every class, it may be because I never talk but who knows. I sat through half the class before I started dosing off. Every second felt like an hour, I couldn't wait to get out of Mrs. Kramlys class, she was the most boring teacher I know. She needed to retire, she was like eighty and did everything, what she would call, "old fashioned". I watched the clock, worked on second period homework and everything above to pass time. I finiely watched the clock hit nine thirty and I was up out of my seat ready to get out the door, Even though I had only second period to look forward to.
BEEP!, the load bell rang as I walked out of the classroom door. Brian ran up to me and stuck his hand on my left shoulder.
"What are you in a hurry for?" He asked.
"I'm not". I glance over at him and quickly look back so I don't run into anyone.
"Yeah, it sure seems like you don't sweetheart."
He always called me sweetheart, it made a bunch of girl jelous when they heard him.
"I was just ready to get out of her class, I just about fell asleep."
"Ahh I see, we'll ill text you or meet up with you later, I gotta go to math". He stuck out is tounge and took a sharp right down the math hallway.
As my day grew worse time seem to get slower. I waited and waited for the three o'five bell so I could get out of the place I call hell. After a long school day I walked to my bus to go home and like always everyone took up all the seats forcing me to sit with someone I don't know. I ended up sitting with a girl names Kally larsing. She was considered a "loser" who had writing all over her locker every day. I felt bad for the girl but I dident dare get involved, it could lead to more dangerous terms for me and most likely her too.
I arrived back home and took in a deep breath of good ol sweet home air. I was glad to finiely be home, it felt like I was never there. I walked up the old brown wood stairs and into my white two story house. I threw my bag on the floor, kicked off my shoes and headed for my room upstairs. The sound of my moms voice stopped me on the third step of the stairs.
"TAYLOR!" She yelled from the kitchen.
"Urg, YES MOM!" I screamed waiting for a reply.
"COME HERE".
I annoyingly walked down the steps and into the kitchen where my mom sat in the bar stool.
"Yes mom". I waited for her to turn around but she was to busy sticking her nose in her new home magazine.
"Do you think we should redo the kitchen?" She asked without making a movement.
"Urg, no mom, I'm going to my room now. See you later." I ran out of the room before she had a chance to tell me no. I ran into my room and jumped to land on my soft queen sized bed. I grabbed my laptop that was sitting on my night stand on the left side of my bed, it was plugged up and charged ready to go. I clicked and typed till I was on my Facebook page, I read through things till I got bored and randomly got a message. I grabbed my phone and closed my laptop to return it back to his original spot. I unlocked my phone and read my message.
From: Brian :)
Hey Tay Tay, wanna hang?
I replied back with "alright tell me where and I'll go lol". He texted me an address and I ran downstairs. Mom never really cared what I did, as long as I was back before ten she was perfectly fine. I put on my boots and took a couple bills off the counter, I headed for the door. I sat down in my jacked up Chevy. I drove out the drive way and headed for my destination.
I arrived at the address Brian gave me, it look abandoned but I soon found Brian standing by a couple building and I lost my bad feelings the place gave me.
"TAY-TAY!" He screamed at me and I came running to his arms. I threw my arms around his neck and be picked my up and set me back down.
"So what are we doing here?" I asked as I let go of him.
"We'll we are going to a secret party."
"Brian you know I don't like party's."
"Yeah, exactly why I did not tell you where you was going."
"Gee, I love you too Brian." I reply with a smile and hint of sarcasm.
We enter this building where everyone was dancing and having fun. I knew no body there but Brian. As we walked through the crowed I was holding Brian's hand the whole time in hope of not getting lost in the dancing crowd.
"Do you want a drink?" Brian asked looking at me.
"Ye...." I couldn't finish my sentence for the most amazing guy walked into view.
"Taylor? Taylor?" Brian tried to regain my attention but it wasn't working.
"Yeah I'll take a dri.." My words were cut off again as everything went dark.
