Chapter 2

Grace's POV

"Dear!!! Please come home now i have news to break to you!" I fasten my pace to go back home since I was anticipating on what she had to tell me. It can be good or otherwise. Wait, is she pregnant? But she doesn't have a boyfriend. Whatever, I have to reach home as quickly as I could for the news she is about to break to me.

I barged into the house and ran straight to my mother's room . I held onto her door, panting , trying to catch a breath and she came to me while laughing her ass off as she thought I looked as if I just a saw a ghost but no I was just nervous to find out the news since it could be really bad. She just went ahead and tell me the news that i was expecting the whole time .

"Honey we're moving to Seoul in about three days time as I have a better job opportunity there. Besides, you will have the chance to get closer to your relatives there in Korea." my mouth was agape and I was too shocked to even do anything. I walked slowly out of the room. How is it going to be now that I'm leaving my best friends and most importantly, Jared?

< three hours later >

Three hours had passed and I was still thinking of what the future is going to be like now that i have no choice but to leave California. I texted my best friends , they were sad yet they understood that i had to leave. But I have yet to tell Jared so I planned to go to his house and tell him the news and then have dinner with him .

I reached his place and I saw his bedroom lights on. I entered the house , knowing where his spare keys were. I kept thinking of what he would reply after I tell him the news that I was going to leave. Are we still going to be together? Are we gonna break up? Who knows?
