Lonely (Child!Spamano)

Romano sat under the big oak tree in his schools yard. He hid under the shade to escape the heat, and the other kids that played together on the playground and soccer field.

He was ignored by almost everyone, so this is usually how he spent recess. The crunching of leafs caught his attention and he looked up to see one of the newer students here smiling down at him.

"Hola!" The boy said happily and Romano looked him up and down. He had short curly brown hair and beautiful green eyes.

Romano quickly looked away, not wanting to get lost in his bright eyes

"What do you want" he grumbled, expecting some kind of teasing from him.

"I just wanted to talk, you were sitting alone so... " he trailed off nervously, rubbing the back of his head " My names Antonio" he said and held out his hand for Romano to shake.

He was hesitant at first but eventually took his hand and shook it

"I'm Romano" he grumbled and gave him a confused look when Antonio sat next to him.

"Do you want to be friends?" the Spanish boy asked hopefully and smiled brightly. Romano was surprised by the question, most people would prefer to be friends with his brother than him.

"Sure" he said and that was the start of a friend ship.. And maybe one day something more.
