Francis Payne
I brought my hands that were filled with water up to my face and subsequently seized one of the towels. I blinked upon seeing my complexion. I felt a pang in my chest of guilt. Not only did the paparazzi reveal Sabrina's identity, but it caused swarms of people to spy and chase her for an interview.Just when I was about to twist the door handle, I heard Sabrina emit a terrified shriek. I ran out to see her standing at the edge of the bed, observing the floor as if a flood flashed through the room and was about to drown her any second.
"Spider!" She pointed at the antique carpet where the creature frolicked happily. "Well what are you standing there for? Kill it!"
I gripped the broom that was rested upon the wall and hit it until it stiffened. I swept it into the dustpan and threw it in the trash bin, whispering a sorry. I wonder why the majority of girls are scared of them. They don't do any harm anyway.
"Thank you F-"Before she can complete her sentence she trips on the part of the bed spread and almost tumbled off the bed. I luckily caught her in my arms, taking a few steps back to get my balance. She laughed nervously. "A-as I said, thank you Francis."
"You really are clumsy did you know that?" I state, still holding on to her body.
"I never noticed." She retorted sarcastically.
We stood there in the same position until Sabrina pushed away and began transferring a few pillows and blankets to the loveseat.
"Sab, what are you doing?"
She walked back to the bedroom and said, "I'm sleeping on the couch. You're sleeping on the bed."
I hesitated, "But I –"
"Don't argue with me." She intimidated.
I can feel myself chuckle inside. She can be so cute when she's serious. I nodded in agreement and went to bed early.

Midnight approaches however my body refused to allow me to sleep. I toss and turn, curled up and closed my eyes but there was no luck. I moaned out of irritation. The couch was indeed uncomfortable. I stared at the window and chest recalling how Francis broke inside. That evening, I planned to get a drink of water because of the heat so I slightly opened my door but then I noticed his form and observed him as he got into the chest. I didn't think that he'd throw my camera once I found him. And that's how we all ended up here, locked up in the apartment as the paparazzi stalled all night to capture photos and to broadcast interviews of us.I creep inside the room and Francis was happily snoring. I took my notepad and pen so I could decide a decent title and description to my project. That's when he leaned on his headboard and yawned, staring at me.
"Hey are you okay?" he says approaching me.
"I just got my notes for the internship." I held up the objects and smiled, even if he couldn't see my face in the dim lighting.
I walk back and trip on something. I have got to pay attention to the things around me. Francis catches me again; such a sweet boy."Klutz," he whispered in a joking manner, propping me up.
We eyed each other in the small lighting and out of the blue he leans in, not knowing the fact that he was closing in the distance between us. His lips pressed against mine and I solidified, not knowing what to do.
He pulls away, since I didn't kiss him back. So I yanked his shirt and crashed my lips against his. We pull apart, a certain joy inside struck me, like a lightning bolt as we say our good nights.

Finally the kiss, I've been planning the chapter in my mind and how I was supposed to write it down. I hope you like it 🙂
