Lost Mage

Lucy POV:

Everything was good. It had been awhile since the grand magic games and I sort of missed it, apart from all the dragons being unleashed upon earthland but i really feel like we made some great friends.

"LUCY!" Natsu and Happy both shouted at the same time with cheerful smiles glazed on their faces which warmed my heart.

The came and sat across from on the table and placed a job flyer in front of me. It had a picture of staff on front of it and the reward was hefty.

"Lets go on a job Luce, i'm bored i need something to do" His voice was warm and fuzzy and his cheerful smile depleted into a small grin.

"But we just came back from a job and besides i'm tired" His facial expression drop, which mad my mood drop. I didn't like seeing him sad like this, it looks like he really wanted to go on this job. i put my hand on his arm and i could feel the heat already warming my hand up. " We can go on this job tomorrow Natsu, i'm just tired and hungry."

A smile then came across his face, hinting that he had an idea.

"Lets go out for something to eat then"His offer was tempting but i didn't want to be spending my money on expensive restaurant foods for the three of us, i already knew that i would be paying because Natsu never carries money around with him. He probably expects me to buy everything when we go out.

"How about we just have some cake here, besides its delicious and its cheap"I grinned at him hoping he would insist on going out to somewhere like 8-island.

Natsu was just about to answer when we heard a voice and very loud and familiar voice. Erza's voice.

"Did someone say cake?" She was behind me, i didn't notice her before.

"Um yes.." I answered sharply, we didnt want her getting upset or Natsu would be petrified.

"Lets all eat some strawberry cake together" Sh said quite cheerfully, as she put another mouthful of cake into her mouth. The women must really love cake.

We were halfway through our cake when we heard the guild doors slam open. Sting, Rogue, Frosch and Lector all rushed through with worried expressions painted on their faces. Their eyes met mine and Natsu's and the walked over, well speed walked over to our table. Their breathing was heavy.

"Have you heard about the missing mages?" Sting sounded worried, and the tone to his voice sounded really serious.

"Yeah but we didnt think much of it because people go missing all the time" I answered concerned to know why they were concerned.

"wel-" Sting was starting his sentence but Mirajane came over and handed us our juice's that we orderded

"I heard about the mage's" Mirajane's voice was rather soothing

"You did?" Rogue's voice jumped into the conversation rather eagerly.

" Yes mage's have been going missing over the past few months all from different towns, even independent guild mages have gone missing as well," she placed our juice's onto the table, her voice still calm and sweet "I heard a rumour that its only mage's with a certain type of magic that have mysteriously gone missing, i do not know what type of magic it is because its been mage's from lower guild leagues that have gone missing" she stopped and took a breath, "The council has done nothing about it since its nothing major, why don you ask"

" Well we need your help because Yukino has gone missing." Sting's tone had gone dull

The fact that Yukino had gone missing shocked me down to the core, how could she have gone missing? Or was she abducted? I needed to help find her she was my friend, she may not be my comrade but she my friend.

"But i only talked to her yesterday" My voice stammered, i think i'm still in shock that Yukino had gone missing

"Do you have any clue where she might be" Erza's mood had turned sour, her voice was sharp and serious where as mine was nervous.

"No thats why we came to you for help" Rogue sounded desperate.

"Fro thinks so too" Frosch raised his hand upwards as if he was trying to draw attention to himself his eyes looked teary.

"I'm sure we can help you find her" Happy's mouth was still full of strawberry cake.

"Lets get Gray and lets go and find Yukino" Natsu exclaimed, seeming enthusisatic about an adventure

"Where is Gray?" I suddenly realised that Gray wasnt even in the guild nor was Juvia

Then the guild doors slammed open again, and it was Gray, hurt but he was also carrying Juvia who seemed to be unconscious, both bloody.

"We've been attacked, their coming here next, run" Gray's voice was full of concern and he limped forward a few steps, then a bomb went off behind him.
