Uncovering The Past

It's my birthday and mom gives me a card and it says from mom and dad.
I always wondered who my dad was/is and my mom always saids he died and his name always seemed like a lie.

My mom is currently out of the house I know mother of the year.
I know where my mom put my birth certificate and I had to look at it and when I did I was surprised.

Mother:Allison Speed
Father:Charles Trippy
Godfathers:Daniel Duncan, Travis Clark, Ryan Tompsen and Coley O'Toole.
I was dumbfounded by what I just found out so I looked in a box that was the hidden under my bed and it was from my father and god fathers.
It said on top,
Dear Little one,
Your mom wanted you not to know us because she wanted you to never know your fathers side of the story
-Dad, Travis, Coley, Hunter and Danny

Inside it had card after card and little gifts I was speechless on the effort my mom put in to make sure I don't know my dad.

I went on Facebook and searched up Travis Clark and I messaged him:

Valentine: Hey Travis did one of your good friends have a daughter September 2001
Travis:Yes her name is Valentine-Brooklyn
Valentine: I may or may not be your God-Daughter
Travis: I finally found you again little one
Valentine: I have one question though
Travis: Yes val
Valentine: Is Charles Trippy still alive?
Travis: Valentine he is still alive and is in my house want to skype?
Valentine: Okay

(Travis' Pov)
Today I found my God-Daughter while her father is in my house and I couldn't believe it so I had to tell him.

Travis:Charles come here and look at this
Charles: Yes travis
Travis: You know how we were looking for your daughter
Charles: Yes
Travis: She sent me a Facebook message
Charles: Do she still have her name
Travis: Yes want to skype her?
Charles: Yes please

(Valentine's Pov)
I can't believe I'm going to talk to someone that knows my dad

(Skype call starts)
Valentine: Hi
Travis: Hello Valentine-Brooklyn
Charles: Hi baby girl
Valentine: Are you my dad?
Charles:  Yes How did you find us?
Valentine: Alli told me you were dead for the millionth time so I looked at my birth certificate and seen yours and travis' name.
Charles: She really lied to you
Valentine: Yes and everytime I asked about my dad she said to me that dad died and his family moved away and I never believed her.
Charles: Valentine my family wouldn't move away for the world and were trying to look for you and I have things  that they gave to you but you mom took you from me and changed your last name and wanted nothing to do with me.
Valentine: Anyway you and I can see each other
Charles: Yes want to get starbucks tomorrow
Travis: Want your god-fathers to come too
Valentine: Sure
(Skype call ends)

(Charles' Pov)
I found my daughter that my ex wife never wanted me to see but changing her name won't stop be from finding her and when I heard her voice it was like I was set free the question inside was finally answered.

(The next day)
I'm surprised Allison let Valentine go to starbucks with me and the band.
I get to starbucks and Valentine was getting out of Allison's car and she didn't say goodbye so I kind of knew that they didn't have a good relationship right now.

I was nervous that she wouldn't like me and go back with Allison and when I went to starbucks and I went to Allison's car she said
"Look who came back from the dead"
I wanted to burst with this comment but I knew If I bursted she wouldn't let me see my daughter that was told I was dead for years and never believed her lie.

When I thought Allison was telling me what time she was picking her up she told me to keep her.
I was dumbfounded by this comment and she had her bags with her and all.

Not only did I meet my daughter again I had her again.
She was happy about this because she told me she didn't belong because she didn't look like a speed she looked like my family.

(Valentine's Pov)
I was excited to go with my father because I didn't belong with my mom's family because I didn't look like anyone and my classmates always said I was adopted but the truth was my mom never wanted my dad in my life.

I met my godfathers and travis said I looked like a Trippy and my dad said they were right.

(The next day Charles' Pov)
Me and My daughter walk out of the court office and she is officially my daughter she is officially mine.
I can't believe Alli just gave me her but I knew she was happy because she didn't say miss her mother at all I couldn't blame her.

(The next day)
I am having the band over and my parents.
(They arrive)
My parents look at her and start crying not because of sadness but the feeling of finding her again.
The band had all of the stuff they needed at my house so if they had to stay overnight for practice they would have what they need.

The band stays my parents leave
And I dose off after all that happened in the last few days that I wouldn't change for the world.

(Valentine's Pov)
I fall asleep in my fathers arms and I couldn't have fell asleep faster his heart beat like a lullaby that never gets old.

(Danny's Pov)
I fell asleep in the guest bedroom and I went to get a glass of water and I looked on the couch and seen charles and valentine asleep.
Me and the band decided to stay at charles' house for a bit to make valentine ajust quicker.
I fell back asleep as soon as I hit the guest room pillow.
I wake up and go in the kitchen and I see the cutest thing it was valentine making breakfast for everyone.

The band wakes up and we all eat breakfast together.
