(F/S) = Favorite Snack
Chapter 19 - Lost
After I went to Lucinda to clean up all of the makeup and stuff she put on me, I went straight to bed. I was tired from all of the running around and planning we did. I was so tired that I slept until 12:00 which was surprising because I went to bed at 11:00. I rolled out of bed and changed into one of my favorite outfits before stumbling down the stairs and into the kitchen. Aphmau was sitting on a stool and leaning on the island whilst talking to Katelyn. I opened the fridge and took out (F/S), eating it quickly due to how hungry I was. Aphmau turned to me, "Oh, (Y/N) you're awake! Did you sleep okay?"
"Yep, I slept just fine," I replied and sat on the stool next to her, "Do you have any plans today?"
"Actually, yeah, I want to go wander around the woods for a bit. But, I want us all to do something together so I convinced everyone that we would go when you woke up."
I smiled, "Oh, so that means we're going right now?"
"Maybe in a few minutes," Aphmau laughed, "You know how the guys are, they take a long time to finish what they're doing."
I chuckle and nod, slipping on my favorite shoes (I recommend something like boots or sneakers, not heels and such since you're going to explore in the forest but, it's your choice). "Let's go tell everyone."

Everyone was gathered together outside, talking as usual. "Haha! Zane, I can't believe you lost that game, it was so hilarious!" Travis laughed.
"Travis shut up or I will kill you," Zane warned.
I chuckled and turned to Laurence, "What game were you playing?"
"Monopoly."
I laughed making Zane turn to look at me, "Why are you laughing (Y/N)? You're probably not any better!"
"That sounds like a challenge," I grinned at him.
"Okay, guys!" Aphmau interrupted us, "There's actually a story about the place that we're going to."
Shivers went up my spine, making my hair stand up. "W-What is it?" I asked.
She smirked, "The trail is called Three Crosses. The reason being, there were 3 teenagers that went on an unnamed trail that no one ever used. For some reason, they never came back so people thought that they were dead, and that is how the trail earned the name Three Crosses."
"Oh, I think I heard that one," Travis laughed.
"It's probably some stupid joke someone told to scare people away," Zane groaned.
"Hey, you never know," Katelyn replied.
I just stood there in deep thought, 'Could this be true? Should I believe it or not? Goodness, I shouldn't be worrying about this that much.' "(Y/N)?" Reese spoke, "Are you okay?"
I turned to him and tried to hide the frightened tone in my voice, "Y-Yeah, everything's fine."
"Don't worry (Y/N)~" Travis swooned, "I'll protect you!"
I glared at him, "You can't even go against a fly, Travis."
He chuckled and combed his hand through his hair,"What can you say, I guess I have a big heart."
I smirked at Travis, "Yeah, you may have a big heart and a big head but no brain."
"How rude!" Travis yelled.
We walked into the woods, talking and laughing together like normal. That is until Travis had to make a comment, "(Y/N), Are you a magician? Because every time I look at you everyone else disappears."
I roll my eyes and continue on, looking back when I hear Travis yell, "OW! Zane, why'd you do that!?"
Zane just smiled at him, "What are you talking about?"
"You just pinched me," Travis whined, rubbing his arm, "It hurt, you know?"
Zane just chuckled and sped up to catch up to me. I turned my head to look at him, "Did you really pinch him?"
"Yep," Zane laughed, "He deserved it, though, he kind of got on my nerves."
"What did he do?"
He looked forward, "Don't worry about it."

We were already in the woods for about an hour now, and I was walking without looking up. But, for some reason, they stopped talking a few minutes ago but I wasn't really frightened of it, up until now. Without warning, my foot flew forward and I slid down a small cliff. "Ouch," I flinched, holding onto my ankle. 'I know it's not broken, I think I just sprained it.' I tried to stand up but failed, falling back on the ground. Looking up, I saw that there was no way I could climb up it. I also realized that no one was there, I was walking alone all this time. 'That explains why it was so quite. Dang it! Why didn't I notice that and look up! There would have been more of a chance to make it back!'
"Zane!" I yelled without thinking, "Zane?! Aphmau!?" 'Why am I so stupid?' I sat there looking up through the trees and at the blue sky. Sighing, I try and stand up again, cringing when I put too much weight on my ankle. But, as soon as I try to take a step forwards, I fall back again. 'Well, I'll have to try until someone tries to find me.'

Zane stopped abruptly, looking back to see no one. He was getting really suspicious because (Y/N) hadn't said anything for a while. But, he discarded it and thought that it might be because Travis made that comment and you were too shy to respond to anyone. However, when he looked back his heart started racing. 'Where is she? Did she get lost? Is she okay?' He thought. "Zane?" Aphmau called. Zane looked back to see Aphmau looking at him with a puzzled look on her face, "Are you okay? What's wrong?"
I stepped back and turned on my heel, starting to walk back to where we were a few moments ago, "I think (Y/N) got lost, I'm going to try and find her."
"Really?" Aphmau asked, her eyes widening, "I can help-"
"No, I don't need help," Zane replied, looking around for any sign of (Y/N) being here, "You all can go on ahead, if I find her, I'll start heading back to the cabin too."
"Okay, but if you don't come back in an hour, we're going to go looking for both of you," Aphmau responded. Zane nodded and walked forwards, determined to find (Y/N).
'I hope she's safe.'
