A Youtuber's Secret

The story begins in a room where at the corner a girl is going through stacks of old looking books when her phone rings, "hello,who's this?" Says the girl with a slight irritation in her voice as she was interrupted from her  pending work, "hey" said the cheerful voice. "I called to tell you that you may come to stay anytime you please we have got the room cleared and are waiting for your response." The girl changed her posture at this even though the person on the other side wouldn't notice and cleared her voice to say, "I'll be there by next week around 11am on Sunday" "okay roomie see you soon!" Said the voice and hung up. How odd people were! He barely knew me and called me his roomie well I guess this is how they work here. the thought of a girl living with two men may seem uncomfortable for some people well not for Aurora if only they knew her secrets they'd be willing to kill her without a second thought and even you reader must remain in the dark until the time is right.

Aurora is 16 living alone in the suburbs of Canada she is a youtuber who just started recording her work with her awful camera but for her there is still hope. She don't make money out of youtubing so she has a dayjob at a departmental store over the few days she has been able to collect enough money to move to LA. Her house is small but comfortable and full of odd looking object which includes various roots leaves bubbling potions and what not and some animals innards which are tucked away in a shelf at the basement that's why she will need a week to pack. Only essentials murmured Aurora thinking how on earth was she able to move and most importantly hide so many potions but she knew she had to so running her fingers through her short purple hair she began to think and rested upon the decision of coming back here every few months and just pack enough to last 2 or 3 months. The potions didn't need regular intake once a week and some healing medicine of course.

Even though modern medicine has made its progress she still trusted herself more than others. The essential books and potions were packed in a box and to remove it from prying eyes an invisibility cloth was wrapped around it and cursed so the intruder would lose their memory of the box the instance it was touched with several taps with her wand on the box and with precise movements she soon was able to pack her luggage and put on spells around her house. Aurora was gifted with an eidetic memory still she kept her books for reference in case she wasn't paying enough attention. A straight A student until everything had to change.....with a shudder of that memory she sat down to calm herself and started on making her essential potions she packed some but was making an extra batch for next time healing potions,transfiguring potions and wenjung potion or the sympathic potion which made people like you and care for you were a few examples of so.

At one point she decided to take a break and have a fly around yes Aurora had strong black leathery wings and white talons for fingernails. Going out she took a flight not knowing next when she would be able to be so free when she will move on to LA her flights will have to be more carefully planned but for today she will go to her favourite place by the ocean and will notice the roaring waves which gives her a sense of calm and tranquility in the most odd way possible as most would rather stay indoors than see such a chaotic and angry mother nature in action how she would miss this place but she could come here but its better not to get anyone worried since she'd not be alone at home anymore. the ocean is pretty far to say the least but her speed is no match even though she'd like to go to LA by flying but she wouldn't have her wings then she'd be a mortal just like the others but deep within She'll hide her secret of the beast she is.

While making videos she took a very light dose of her human potion which would last an hour or so. She didn't like it cause it tasted like bitter gourd but well anything for her favourite hobby. Even hours of video editing didn't bother her much. She doesn't need to sleep as she is not a mortal so she spends her time mastering her skills and doing whatever she likes. These last 7 days she has been doing all the stuff that she will miss in LA. She'll probably be very busy during that time. Most of the time she ended up getting in trouble and even though she lives pretty isolate with a few local vampires and witches as her friends but hiding from humans is very important something that she was failing miserably at and had to erase loads of memories but all went fine till the day she was dreading and in some ways awaiting.

Bittersweet or ironic the truth was she had to leave because she wanted to be a youtuber, a proper YouTuber and her luck favoured her when she got to live with 2 other youtubers under the same roof. Maybe her youtubing career was not so hopeless after all. Before leaving she did her research on the two she was gonna meet. They were already pretty famous and did tours. Hmm that's good She'll get alone time unless they dragged her with them. Nevertheless she watched their videos and was pretty sure they did too. She saw comments from them and smiled to herself as they praised her originality.

The last night in her own home was ending and she decided to get herself ready for the trip as she waved her wand and got all the things in the trunk she drank her potion in front of a mirror seeing herself for the last time until she changed her wings began shrinking until none left her hands were normal then she threw her robe on the floor and wore a white shirt, red hoodie and faded jeans with black converse and walked to her car. She felt weaker as the potion took away her powers for 2 weeks and she started driving at about 4am GPS as her map she began driving with her favourite cds which was a mix of pop and punk with a hint of emo for who knows how long after a few wrong turns and what not she reached the place which was texted to her by her "roomie"

A/N:so I found a person to be my Aurora. She is on tumblr called zubatcave. She has an old pic of her in purple hair so yeah that's Aurora. She fits so well for it except for I think Aurora's hair is a darker shade of purple.
