After we exited the building Martin put the breaks on the chair and went to grab the suv from where he had parked it. He got out after pulling up and opened the passenger door and then came to retrieve me. He pushed the chair I was in close to the opened door and helped me into the suv. He put my safety belt on and kissed my cheek and closed the door.
He walked around and opened the driver door and slid into the driver seat and put the car in drive and slowly took off. The ride home was a blur for me. All I could do was cry. Seeing Martin sitting in the blood stained driver seat all I could think about was how in the world could I drive this vehicle now after it held bad memories for me. Martin told me not to worry we would get it cleaned.
He held my hand while having one hand on the wheel so he could drive. He just kept apologizing to me and all I could think about to myself in my head was what in the world does he have to be sorry for. After arriving home he helped me into the house and into bed.
He kissed my forehead and told me to rest that he wouldn't be long but he had wanted to shower and get into some clean clothes of his own. Martin's uniform was ruined from him sitting on the blood ridden seat.
All I could do was lay there crying and rambling and babbling encoharently to myself. After I hear the shower cut off and Martin drying off. He shortly returns freshly showered and asked if I had eaten and would like him to get me anything. Not wanting to eat I declined through more uncontrollable tears. Martin then did something I never expected....
