More than Meets the Eyes

A/N: HEY!!! Ok this is my first story and i hope u like it!!

They say high school supposed to be the greatest 4 years of your life. They don't know how wrong they are. It's hard but I on,y have 2 years left and I'm out of this hell-hole. I'm fairly smart and you know those people that are really shy at school and barely talk but at home you won't shut up? Yea, well I guess you can say I'm one of those people. I don't like to talk a lot during school and when I do it's usually to a teacher. I started to get out of bed at 5:27 I like to wake up early, usually because I go to sleep early. Before I go to take a shower I stop at my full body mirror. I have brownish-blondish hair that is mostly brown.. It's hard to explain. I have grey eyes, skinny body probably because I'm tall. I take a while to look at my imperfections and trust me, there are a lot. After about 10 minutes of looking at myself I go take a shower. I strip down and slowly go into the shower. It feels so good havering little droplets trickling down my skin. By the time I'm done taking a shower the whole bathroom is steaming and misty. I put on my robe a go into my room looking for a pair of clothes. I go into my closet and and choose a button down blouse a pink and black vest and just above the knee grey skirt. For my shoes I choose some brown shoes that go on my ankle with some navy blue socks that go a few inches under my ankle. I don't like to dress like this but my mother insists because she doesn't want me to become one of those slutty whores that wear short skirts and crop tees. She says that they aren't even clothes but a piece a piece of fabric. I kind of agree but this is just ridiculous. I don't like to argue with her because our dad just left us a few weeks ago and I feel bad for her but thankfully she hasn't resolved to drinking so I wanna stay out of trouble and lay low for a bit. I went down stairs, took an apple and left the house. I started walking to school. When I got there i met up with my best friend Alexis. She had brown silky hair that reaches just under her shoulders. She has brown eyes, she wears glasses occasionally. She is really pretty and sometimes I wonder why she evens talks to me. "Heyyyy gurrrrl" she said i laughed she always acted like a little girl which was one of the reasons I love her so much" hey what's up?" "Nothing much." While we were walking to our lockers I looked down at my schedule and saw I had science. Ugh I suck at science for 2 reasons. For one Alexis isn't in It and we are being paired up in partners today. And 2 Mr. Hogg teaches us AKA the most boring person a live. Like his voice is so slow its like he wants us to fall asl- *BANG* I fell on the floor and al my drawings scattered on the floor. I must have hit the wall because my head is developing a bruise right now. Look up and see Ashton Knight, smirking. I could just die . His smile is so perfect that it hurts. I start to blush really hard and I quickly pick up all my papers as fast as my hands let me. I got up and quickly ran with Alexis down to my locker. "What the hell was that?" She asked. I didn't know what she was talking about I mean I just bumped in to Ashton not more. "What?" "What do you mean 'what' you don't want to be even talking to Ashton Megan will literally kill you!" She whispered/screamed. Ah, yes Megan the queen bitch. She has had a crush on Ashton since God knows when. But I mean who didn't have a crush on him he's fricken Brazilian and super hot. Ok so I have a small crush on the dude! It's not that big a deal! "What are u talking about Alexis?! I just bumped into him! I mean it's not like I kissed the dude and plus he'll never go for a girl like me" I nearly whispered the last part. It was true though he was the schools bad ass and I was the schools nerd. It's like we're in a whole different world. I took my science books said by to Alexis and walked into science. The bell rang and I went to my seat. Everyone came in and Mr. Hoggs came in. "Ok class today I will be assigning lab partners for the rest of the ye-" he was disrupted by the door opening and there stood Ashton and his friends "would any of you boys like explains to me why you were late?" Ashton just said "nah I'm good" "ok that's it you boys have been late to my class for the last two weeks, you all have detention today after class" he looked mad because he barely ever raised his voice. They just looked amused by this and he continued on with his lesson. "As I was saying, I will be assigning lab partners and you will be partners for the rest of the year." After explaining that we are also going to be doing and projects from homework to reports together because it is easier for not only us but him too. All I'm saying is I'm hoping I have a smart partner because I certainly am NOT doing work for 2. After reading half of the partners being paired up I heard my name. "Ariana meeker and....... Ashton Knight." My jaw literally dropped to the floor. Goodbye sleep hello coffee.

A/N: hey guys! I need feedback if I'm doing anything wrong, right or just anything!! Also if u didnt get my last sentence "goodbye sleep hello coffee" I meant like she will be doing all his work and hers.. Or so she thought. Haha cliffhanger!! Ill be posting soon!
